75 Hmm, It Actually Smell Quite Nice (2/2)

As the day passes by, Angelique continues to watch Jordon from the distance as he handled everything in the shop. She was in such a daze that she did not realize the time at all.

She started thinking back on their high school years when Jordon always helps her when she was in trouble.

The girl sat by the window and started recalling the time when Jordon always comes out late at night when she would run away from home because she had a fight with her foster mother.

Jordon would come running looking for her all the time since they lived in the same neighborhood. Once he found her, he would stay with her all night if she does not want to go home. If she was exhausted from all the running, he would carry her on her back to her home.

”Ange, you should eat.” Jordon said as he brought her a plate of sandwich and a hot drink.

”Jordon, can I ask you something?” Angelique said as he looked up at the man.

”Sure.”

Watching the man standing in front of her, she releases it better to keep things to herself and avoid unnecessary thing. She was too afraid to lose someone like him in her life.

”Never mind, you go ahead...” she smiled at him as she started eating the food.

That night Jordon took Angelique home, as they were heading home Angelique continue to ponder on what she wanted to ask Jordon but her heart was aching in fear of what he will say.

Once she goes into her apartment, she quickly heads to her room, shut the door and jump into her bed. She then notices that Jordon scarf was still around her neck. ”Hmm, it actually smell quite nice.”
