76 Donst Worry, Ism Here (1/2)
The woman flush face was all red as she came out of the shower. She finally calmed down after all the thinking all day.
While she was drying her hair, her phone suddenly rung.
”Hello, Jamie...”
”Ange, are you free tomorrow.”
”Yeah...”
”Then I'll pick you up around 1PM. Have a good rest, I need to go back to work.”
After the man ended the call, the girl was left in a daze confuse of what just happened. She was unable to take everything in. She thought if this was Jamie's way in asking her out on a date alone.
The next day, a man was nervously waiting outside Angelique's door, he was sweating so badly despite it was winter already. His hand was shaking so badly that some petal from the bouquet he brought started following off. After a few minutes in just standing by the door, the man rung the door bell despite he has a spare key to her house.
The girl opened the door and was surprised to see the man standing outside, ”Jamie, did you lose your key?”
The man wanted to dig himself a hole to bury himself, he didn't expect that the first thing she'll say and asked was if he has lost his keys. ”No, I accidentally left it at home. Anyways, here for you...”
Angelique grabs the flowers from Jamie, she was very pleased since they were her favorite flowers. ”Thanks. You should sit for a while, I'm almost done.”
”No worries, take your time, ” he said as he sat down on the sofa.
Moments later, the girl came out all dressed up. She was wearing a bright blue dress, covered with her long beige coat, she wore a white legging underneath and wore a classic ankle fluff boot. She looked adorable and almost look like a teenager back in the days.
The man was taken aback when he saw the girl came out of her room, he was completely in a daze and couldn't take his eyes on her.
”Jamie, can you stop looking at me like that, you're making me feel embarrassed all of the sudden.” she said as her face turned all red.
The man quickly got up from the car and the two of them headed out. As the man helps her into his car, he was still not completely himself.
