”Uh yes, what were you just doing?”

Rin didn't reply immediately because he didn't know how to answer that and thought, 'Why is she asking that?', ”Why?” he did asked nonetheless.

”Um, nothing. Just wanted to asked.”, the coldness of her voice was beginning to fade and becoming playful and cheerful, ”Are you busy?”

”No, not really. In fact, I don't have anything to do.” Of course that's a lie. He have many things to think about and he really wanted to take a bath since he was drowning in a river previously and didn't even know when he dried up. He's hungry and really wanted to eat something.

”Oh good then”, Dana didn't even hide the tone of relief, ”what were you doing?”

”I don't either know myself, hahah. I went the next town to wander around.”, Rin didn't lie there.

”What? You? Wander next town?”, Dana doubted.

Rin could only reply an awkward laugh since he couldn't deny her doubt. If it was before, he was pretty sure that he wouldn't want to go where strangers are.

”So… what did you do there?”, Dana said in a very feminine sound.

”Nothing, just bought some snacks and lied on the a bed of grass beside a river until night. It sure was relaxing.”

”Why did you even go there?”

”I just wanted to…”, after Rin said that, it was silent for a while. They don't really have that much topic. Dana just suddenly called him out of nowhere. But then, Rin thought something, ”Hey.”

”Hm?”

”In the days that I've been absent, is there something important at school?”

”Ah yes, of course. Wait, why did you go absent anyway? There is a lot of trouble waiting for you. Our classmates were really glad that you didn't go to school.”

Rin was hurt when Dana mentioned that.

From there, their conversation was very smooth since Rin had a lot to catch on. Their topic went from what happened to school during Rin's absent to other topics like something unusual happenings and so on.

”Teacher Hannah is really angry at you being absent. Ahahah, it was really funny at that time when she said, 'He's not even doing good at school and he dared to not attend to it!!?', Dana copied how Teacher Hannah said it before laughing.

”Ahhh now I don't want to go back.”

”No! You should go back to school! You're going to repeat a grade if you further continue your actions. And even though, you already missed the mock exam and the actual exam, I can still tutor you. And lately, Marjohn has been too close to me that it's making me uncomfortable…”

Rin just listened to Dana and her talkative mouth but he did not hate it at all. In fact, he like that Dana was only like that when talking to him.

An hour passed but their conversation doesn't seem near to be ending at all and every time, both enthusiastically reply and laughed all the time.

”Hey, have you eaten already?”, Dana suddenly asked.
