24 That Long Call is just Normal (2/2)

”Actually, not yet.”, Rin actually forgot that he was hungry.

”Hmmm.”, Dana sighed in a disappointed tone, ”You really should have a phone with you.”

Rin looked at the wire connecting the two parts of the telephone, he found it funny and teased, ”Ohh, why would I need one?”, he imagined Dana right now with her cute angry face with puffed cheeks.

”Isn't it obvious? Because it's really convenient.”, Dana replied in a weak voice.

”Convenient? For example???”

”For example… you can still use your phone… while eating…”, Dana said in a low voice because of embarrassment as if she was caught in act while doing a crime.

But before Rin could speak, Click* Dana hung up. 'Wait, did I go too far?'

Rin sighed and decided to call her again to apologize. However, he didn't memorize her contact info and needed a copy. When he was about to go and get the copy that Dana gave him. Criing! Criing! Criing!* the phone rang.

Rin picked it up and heard, ”Sorry for hanging up so suddenly… But you should eat first! Why didn't you told me earlier?”, Dana's tone of voice was of low to normal.

”I forgot.”, Rin scratched his head, ”Then I guess I'll eat.”

”Hmph, good!”, Dana nodded at the other side of the phone.

Before hanging up, Rin asked, ”Aren't you going to sleep yet?”

”Hmm, I planned to even if it is a little early. Why?”

”Ah okay, I was just to ask if I can call later but if you are planning to sleep then I shouldn't bother you anymore.”

”Ah? I just remembered that I have dishes to wash so I won't be able to sleep. Call me later right after you finish eating, okay?” Click*

Rin chuckled and murmured, ”She's really weird. It's like she's a different person when at school.” Rin have a really high level of virginity that that is the only thing he noticed. Though that is the first time he talked on a phone and it was with a girl on top of all.

Rin closed his eyes and smirked. After he put back the phone, his knees abruptly bend forward that made him kneeled. He wanted to cry, ”That was great… too great… she's cute…”

When he stood back up, he hurriedly cooked something and ate it as fast as he could. He wanted to hear Dana's voice more than to satiate his hunger.

He then took a very quick shower, dressed and went straight to the phone.

Just after seconds he dialed Dana's contact info, she answered, ”Rin? Well, that was fast.”

Their conversations then continued all the way to midnight, sleepiness was the only thing that obstructed them from talking till morning. Rin didn't have the chanve to ask why did Dana call in the first place but that doesn't matter right now.

After exchanging long goodnights, Rin went straight to bed, unable to cease his smile.
