17 Be Careful (1/2)

It sure was very gore-ish but for Elihim, who paved his path with blood and war to reach the peak and become what he is, a [God]. There are worse that he had encountered and witnessed in his journey.

But something like a body reverting back to its original state before even completing its self-destruction is a first in his thousands years journey.

Elihim crouched down, ”Are you… still alive?” he poked Rin's head. But he only heard muffled groans.

Elihim leaned his head forward and whispered, ”What?”

”That hurt… very much.”, Rin is actually crying that he dared not to show his face. He rarely cries but after encountering this torture-like experiences, he couldn't keep his toughness.

”Uhh… yeah… your body did exploded into pieces and… well… reverted back. I'm sure that isn't a good experience at all…” Elihim started to pity this young guy. Even he himself have no idea if he could bear that pain.

Rin's heart exploded twice in a row and not long after, his whole body followed. Getting hanged couldn't compare to this! Is there a reason for his body not to seek a rest? Therefore, his consciousness faded and left Elihim talking to himself.

”This kid…” The eyes that were dead before have not left a single trace on Elihim's face but glittered. He thought of something that he wished is true. He started to have heavy breathing, his eyes was instead, filled with glitters that reflects the young man called Rin who's sleeping.

Elihim placed his hand on top of Rin's head and in a short amount of time, Rin woke up.

The calm and cool God before was the exact opposite now. Without patience, Elihim called Rin, ”Don't sleep yet. I need to know something now.”

Rin felt energetic right now, somehow this feeling is the same before when Nathan caressed his back.

”Did you know what you've treasured all along?”, Elihim smiled.

Rin glanced at him, he had been avoiding this question because the answer would prove that he is weak. Therefore, he stayed silent and wouldn't give in.

But Elihim didn't await for an answer and said, ”Death…”

Rin's heart suddenly start aching when he heard this. A man who treasured his own death. Those are the ones who completely gave up on life and furthermore, his wish was to be better at the next life. He wanted to escape, he did just gave up but also turn his back. That is truly being weak and being a coward.

”Hihihi! This is the first that I've encountered.”, Elihim said in a low voice ”Be careful…”

Rin couldn't understand those two words but he will later on in a harshest way possible.

Elihim abruptly stood up seemingly in a great mood.
