17 Be Careful (2/2)

”Ah! I can't contain my excitement anymore! I should start with it! Such a cheat! I wish it would not go to waste…”, Elihim's voice faded along with his body into nothingness. Rin saw it, that should excite him, that is obviously unnatural but he's not in the mood on that moment.

Rin rolled and faced the ceiling. Everything was sudden that he had yet to react and another one showed up. What can he do at the moment? But all he can think was how weak he was. Is it his fault that he was born weak? Or it is his fault that stayed weak?

His mother's words of comfort couldn't reach him. If he did remember then he would remember his deceased mother. Such a bother.

He glanced at the clock hanging on the wall and realized it has only been an hour before everything happened.

His mind is accustomed to overthinking that he didn't know when he fell asleep that night.

Before he knew it it was already morning. It felt like a blink to him.

”I've been sleeping a lot lately.”, Rin sat up and held his head with his right hand.

Growl!!* Rin looked at his stomach with a hopeless face.

”After everything that I went through, I still can't do anything about it.”, He stood up, with his dead eyes, looked at the fridge.

”Elihim… another [God]?”, are gods common nowadays? Seeing two within a month, there should be no other one except for him was what in his thoughts.

When his stomach growled again, he went to the fridge and looked inside of it. That is when he just remembered that there is no food left.

Growl!!*

Rin was at conflict, there is no food left in the fridge and he knew for sure that can foods are already gone. Is he not going to eat or is he going to buy some? Buying some meant that he would go outside. He have no confidence of communicating. If only he have someone who could help him. Someone like Dana!

”Ah, we did exchange contact info!”, Rin's eyes lit up but then dimmed again when he thought, 'I'm going to rely on someone again? No, I can't bother Dana for something stupid as this!'

Rin took a shower and got ready for departure. He made it looked all important by preparing many things but, in the end, he is just going to a supermarket.

He breathed deeply while his stomach growled. He felt weak from hunger. But before going out, he remembered the window that had been broken by Elihim when he was about to lock all the door from the inside.

”He can get in without destroying a window but he would destroy a window to get out? When he came back, he just faded and was gone?”, Rin complained because that is the only thing he could do. He's afraid that Elihim would hear him but he knew that a God should be busy than stalking him.

He sighed and did not have thought of hesitation before going out…
