16 Disgraceful Mistake (1/2)

There are many things running in Rin's mind. If that wasn't a dream then that is the only mysterious thing that happened before the incident happened. Could that explain what happened in the past three weeks?

Rin heard the man sighed, seemingly being bothered. Afraid to go against this another mysterious man who also suddenly appeared, Rin answered.

”I'm Cursed.”, Those pair of words hold an incredible amount of weight inside Rin's heart. Up until now, he did not face his despair but now, he was forced to.

Rin looked at the man, waiting for his answer. Rin just stared and for a split second, the light flickered. He finally got a glimpse of the man's appearance. The man has a messy white hair and a sharp face but what Rin noticed the most was his eyes. He was looking at Rin as if he was already dead.

Rin's instinct was roaring, telling him to run away from this man immediately but his body couldn't even move. The killing intent that the man was giving placed a mountain of pressure on Rin.

”It's a pity, you already have the [Wish Contract] but you lost at the exchange. You must be despairing right now.”, the man threw the apple away.

Rin saw that this man's eyes opened from being closed. How he knew that is because the man's eyes glowed a golden light. He clearly saw a glimpse of the man's dead eyes earlier but now it turned to a glowing gold.

”Nathan only chose those who are desperate to have something. He manipulate them and turn their treasured onto his own. If you don't know what you treasured the most then you are going to lose to that contract.”, the man got down from the fridge, his landing was silent as if his feet didn't touch the ground ”Since you've already been chosen then you are already pitiable but then, you lost to the contract.” He slowly stepped closer and closer to Rin.

The pressure alone can kill Rin if he could die. Rin's survival instincts are going wild. His heart was rampaging in his chest like an angry beast in a cage

”Try not to piss in your pants. That would be a shame before I try to relieve you from all your pain.”

Just right after the man had said that, Rin felt his chest burst, his heart exploded. He threw a mouthful of saliva.

”Poor child, this could not happen if you were better. Well not that I blame you.”

Rin laid down on the floor and could only watch as the man opened a closed metal window with pure strength like it was paper. Rin couldn't close his eyes, he saw something unbelievable. First, he learned the powers they used and now he saw that they are also have power that fit the world's common sense.

Although a man crushing a metal like a paper is not common at all, if that metal was crushed by something and not by nothing then it is not strange at all. Not like how he died, the man didn't even touch him but he could kill him! That is a mysterious power that denies the reasons of the world.

Rin didn't even felt pain while he slowly recover. The reason that he felt no pain wasn't because his mind became numb from pain but he forgot it.
