Ji An tidy up her bedroom. She check Sofia's bedroom. She's thinking she could fit in Sofia's bed.

Cheng Ze taps her shoulder ”You're not gonna fit there. It's too small and you are way heavier than Sofia. You'll end up breaking her bed and she'll end up crying.”

”Are you calling me fat?” she gave him the evil eye.

”No! I'm simply saying sleep next to me. Let Sofia sleep in her bed.” he said it so smoothly.

Ji An smiled and laugh a little ”You just gave me an idea.”

She washed Sofia and got her ready for bed. She told Sofia to sleep in her bed and that she can sleep in the middle. So she can hug mummy or uncle Cheng Ze. Sofia like that so she went to Ji Ans bed and hide under the blanket.

Ji An went to have a wash and after that, she lie down on the right side of the bed.

Cheng Ze is still downstairs. He is waiting for Li Wei to deliver the clothes he asked for.

Sofia fell asleep almost instantly while Ji An can't sleep at all. She's not sure what Cheng Ze is doing. She should sleep before he comes to bed.

Li Wei arrived and deliver a set of pyjamas, two boxer shorts, a pair of socks and a set of fresh clothes for tomorrow. He then bid his goodbye after handling it to his boss. He didn't ask any question he is just happy for his boss.

Cheng Ze went upstairs to Ji An's bedroom. He saw that both of them were asleep so he went to the bathroom to have a wash.

Ji An is just pretending that she's asleep. How can she sleep in a situation like this? Who knows what tricks is he going to play? She can hear the water as it falls on the bathroom floor. She had her eyes shut. For some reason, she started to imagine Cheng Ze having a shower and she entered the bathroom. His body is just right. He has a four pack and, his chest looks good and sturdy, it fits perfectly 'I want to touch it and feel his chest. And his arms' she bit her lower lip. At that moment a drop of water fell on her face.

Cheng Ze was standing next to her side and staring at her. His hair is wet and is dripping. ”What are you dreaming about? Are you even asleep?” he asks.

”Your hair is wet, it's dripping. Don't stare at me like that, it's creepy.” she changes the subject.

Cheng Ze, however, doesn't want to drop his question ”Were you thinking about me? Do you perhaps want to have a shower with me?” he teased her.

Ji An felt embarrass but she tried to hide it. She fired back at him ”I'm actually asleep and dreaming about food.” 'Why am I even explaining to him?' ”Go to sleep. I have to prepare for tomorrows house warming party.”

He just smiled and laugh at her. ”Food huh' it must be yummy!” he put on his pyjama right in the line of sight of Ji An.

Ji An shut her eyes tightly. She didn't speak. She just cover her head with the blanket. After about 2 minutes she felt the bed move a little. He must have lie down. Then there's a big movement. Like someone jump on the bed.

She remove the blanket covering her face. That's when Cheng Ze hugged her waist. He smiled at her so tenderly. ”Good night my wife” he kissed her lips. It's a simple good night kiss.

”Move... Move to the other side. What are you doing? You're going to wake Sofia up. Put her in the middle and sleep on the other side.” she whispers and taps his chest.

Cheng Ze shut his eyes and pretends to be asleep. He murmured ”At this rate, you will wake her up.”

Ji An was speechless. How and when did he become like this? What happened to him? What did they actually do when he went out with Sofia?

She couldn't sleep at all. Sofia hugs Cheng Ze and he hugged Sofia back. Ji An stood up and looked at the two. She snaps a photo of them. Sofia looks so comfortable in his arms. 'It would have been nice if you were her father.' it came across her thought.

She went to the kitchen to get a drink. She drank milk to help her sleep. She put the glass she used to the sink and as she turned around Cheng Ze is right in front of her. ”You can't sleep? Is it because of my presence?” he looked at her straight in her eyes.

Ji An got captivated by his eyes. She feels like his eyes is talking to her, begging for her love. She didn't answer his question instead she stared at his eyes too. It's dead quiet. The intense eye to eye contact is drawing them to each other until there's only a little gap between them.

Ji An shut her eyes waiting for his kiss. However, he didn't kiss her, instead, he left her in the kitchen. She felt disappointed. She drank a glass of cold water to cool her down. She then went to her room and found Sofia in the middle of the bed while Cheng Ze slept on the left side. She lies down on her spot again. This time she manages to sleep.
