58 Sleepover (1/2)

Ji An has moved house and she is waiting for Sofia and Cheng Ze at their new home. She prepared a meal for them.

At around 7 o'clock she heard a car stopped outside. She runs and opens the door. It's them two. They looked like a father and daughter going home to her mummy and his wife.

”Mummy mummy” Sofia excitedly run and called for her ”I went to the park and I ate ice cream. And daddy fed me with rice and chicken. Can we go next time? You as well? Oh, we went shopping as well. Look at my doll mummy, daddy bought it for me. And he got me clothes too. Oh, and did you know, he is my real daddy?!” her eyes are wide open when she said he is her real daddy. She is just too excited she spoke nonstop.

Ji An just laughs at her daughter. ”I see. Is Uncle Cheng Ze spoiling you that much? Come her give mummy a hug first. I miss you, you little bunny.” she kissed her and hugged her daughter.

She looked at Cheng Ze ”Let's have food before you leave. Thank you for spending time with her. But you don't have to buy her stuff. And don't tell her things like you are her real dad, its not good for her...”

”Why not? I want to be her dad.” He said without hesitation.

Ji An furrowed her brows ”Cheng Ze don't say things like that, I know this is only temporary so...”

”When was she conceive?” he asked with a straight face.

His question surprised her ”Huh? Why do you want to know?” she curiously asked.

”Wedding night?” his first guess.

Ji An looked at him 'Is he serious?'

”Is it the night I forced myself into you?” his second guess.

”....” 'what is wrong with him?' ”What are you trying to point out Mr Gu?”

”No?” 'damn it, it would have been better if it's one of those times.'

She stares at him. ”What did Sofia told you?” she then looked at her daughter playing with her new doll.

”Is she mine?” his face is anticipating her answer.

”No! How many times do I have to tell you that!”

”Its only me and Eric right? If it's not him, then it must be me? Right?” He is really squeezing answers from her.

Ji An swallowed her saliva in disbelief that her daughter really told Cheng Ze that Eric is not her real dad.

”I will have her tested if it's okay with you.” he is just testing Ji An.

”You don't have to. I already know you are not her father.” she inhales deeply and let out a big sigh she lowered her voice and spoke in Chinese so Sofia will not understand what they are talking about ”I have been assaulted and drugged before i turned 19. She was conceived that night. That asshole is her father. I don't know him... I don't know his face... his name... nothing!” she felt embarrassed and hurt remembering what happened.

'What assaulted? You enjoyed it so much, though I was exhausted I gave you what you want, and you felt assaulted. Lady, you assaulted me first. You're the first one to kiss me.' he was staring at her in disbelief.

”I ended up marrying Eric because I thought he did it. Well he admitted it” she let out a laugh. ”Im just so stupid to believe him.” she paused for 3 seconds ”Can we talk about this some other time? I'm really not in the mood talking about it. I have this urge to kill him right now for making my life hell!”

”Why do you want to kill him? He gave you a beautiful daughter. Didn't he?” he defended his self.

”Are you defending that asshole?! Seriously Cheng Ze. I love my daughter but that asshole will have to pay the price! He better not find me!With my money now I can have him tortured! No..! No..! I'll send him to jail and let those other criminals take care of him!” she was furious.

Cheng Ze looked at her 'How am I supposed to tell her if she's saying all this!?' ”Ji An, maybe he is a good person? Maybe he didn't mean to have you pregnant?” still trying to defend his self.

”What do you mean? Good person?! Which part of him is a good person. For what he did to me, he is an evil person. He didn't mean to get me pregnant? Are you out of your mind? He should have at least wore protection! Plus he drugged me. He probably is ugly that's why he has to used such method so he can sleep with me! He probably stalks me too.” she's just boiling mad.

This is the first time she opened up and she is just exploding in madness. She felt angry.

”I think he is handsome. And i think you enjoyed that night too..” he spoke confidently without thinking.

”...” ”What is wrong with you? You're an asshole! I can't believe I loved a stupid asshole.”

”I also can't believe that I love a woman who cursed and swear so much.”

Ji An was stupefied for a moment. ”Forget eating. Just leave!” she pushed him to the door.

'So she loves me?' he move close to her ”No! So you love me huh'. That's interesting, its the first time i heard about it. Tell me more.” he sat on the sofa and watch Sofia playing.

He gestures his hand and taps the seat next to his ”Let's talk about this love, come sit with me.” he looked at her waiting for her answer.

She's annoyed with him for how he defended that asshole who assaulted her. ”How about you make your move now and leave my house!” she crosses her arms.
