When she woke up the next day, Sofia and Cheng Ze are no longer in the bed. She looked at the clock and it's 10:41 ”How come they didn't wake me up?” she stood up and got her self ready. She had a shower first and picked a floral dress to wear today.

She went downstairs to see what they are doing as she was going down, she saw Sofia and Cheng Ze playing in the living room. Sofia is so happy giggling, screaming and laughing. Cheng Ze seems to be chasing her and tickling her. 'What a sight to see. My daughter is so happy. I have never seen her this happy' she thought. She sighs and continued to go down.

”Good morning mummy” Sofia greeted her as soon as she saw her.

Cheng Ze look at her ”I prepared breakfast, you should eat first. Sofia watch some cartoons for now, I'll play with you later okay.” he leads the way to the dining table.

”You didn't have to, but thank you.” she followed him.

She sat on the chair and Cheng Ze prepared her plate and the food he cooked. ”No onions, no fish... Just how you like it last time I prepared your food.” he winked at her.

Ji An laughs ”I didn't like them before because I was pregnant with her. I do like them now though. Do you want to eat with me?” she offered.

”No. We ate already.” 'So Sofia was conceived long before she came here, which means I got here pregnant during my tour in Europe. Damn! She will hate me if I tell her the truth now.'

Ji An noticed Cheng Ze, he was quiet and just staring at the food. ”Cheng Ze?” no response from him, she called his name again ”Cheng Ze” again, nothing, she spoke a bit louder ”Cheng Ze!!” he looked at her ”What are you thinking about?”

”Well... I was... thinking... of.... what to serve later on for house warming party.” He couldn't think of other excuse.

”Don't worry about it. That is my problem. You can go and play with Sofia now if you want to. I'll eat the food you cooked don't worry.” she smiled at him.

He went to Sofia to play with her again. She started laughing and screaming and running all over the living room. Until she got tired.

”Daddy, I'm tired. I need to rest.” she's breathing fast. Her face is so flushed. ”Daddy, can I ask you a question?”

”Go ahead, ask me.”

”How are you good in English?” she is just curious about anything.

”Well, Daddy went to study English because your mummy speaks the language.” he grins at her.

”What is your favourite food daddy?”

”Let me see... That is hard. Let's just say chicken.” he looked at Sofia.

She looked at him with a big smile ”Really? That's my favourite too!”

”Wow! How about mummy? What is her favourite food? Do you know?” of course he wants to know.

”Well, we don't eat a lot of your food. We eat like pies and sausages, fish and beans sometimes a person will come to our house and he will cook delicious food... Things like that. She likes fish I think?” she doesn't really know.

'A man?' He kept it at the back of his head. He will ask Ji An later when he get a chance. ”What do you want to eat for lunch? I'll cook for my little princess.” he just wants to catch up for the 5 years he lost to look after her.

”Chicken!” she shouted happily.

Cheng Ze laughs at his daughter. She really likes chicken.

Ji An was watching them. She is so happy seeing Sofia like that. She thought Cheng Ze is really good with Sofia. Sofia really likes him too. But he is already engaged with someone. It made her sad with that thought.
