20 Fake news? (2/2)
They arrived at school in a few minutes time. The students were gossiping and talking about them like it was the first day of school, just that it was negative this time.
”Ignore them,” Matthew said, putting his arm around her shoulder.
Renae nodded to him, trying to stay strong.
Kaiden lost his cool when he saw Matthew's arm around Renae. But he tried not to show it on his face.
Kaiden was standing infront of school waiting for Renae as it was yet again another Mother Tongue lesson. Kaiden saw Min rushing from inside the school towards Matthew but he stopped her.
”What do you think you are doing?” Min stared at Kaiden then continued to say, ”Get your hands off me.”
Kaiden looked back at her coldly and said, ”Stay away from Renae.”
”Why should I? Who are you? You can't tell me what to do! You aren't my parent,” she shouted back at him.
”So you are saying that if I were your parent, I can tell you what to do?” He replied back with a smirk.
Min rolled her eyes and walked the other direction, away from Matthew and Renae.
Matthew and Renae approached Kaiden. Matthew said to him, ”I'll leave her to you for now.” Kaiden nodded his head.
”Ooo what did you do to make Min leave huh?” Renae asked Kaiden.
”Nothing much...”
”Okay then.”
In the middle of class, Kaiden whispered to her, ”Meet me after school, at the café nearby school.” She was confused as to why he wanted to meet her but she still agreed to go.
The last lesson, Renae told Matthew that he doesn't have to send her home that day and that Kaiden will. Matthew was getting jealous inside, is it because he's better than me? So she doesn't want to go home with me anymore?

”Here, listen to this,” Kaiden said as he passed his phone and earpiece to Renae.
Renae listened to it, and asked, ”What's this? Isn't that Mr Ng and... is that Min's mother?”
”Yeah... So basically Mr Ng is going to go against us on the day itself. We can use this evidence against Mr Ng.”
”Yes. Have you informed the police yet?”
”Not yet. I'll inform them now.”
The police replied, said that they'll hire another lawyer and that they'll go with Kaiden's plan.
