71 When did Anna leave? (1/2)

At Raj Mansion,

Lucy woke up a little early as she had to work with her yesterday's schedule too.

Yesterday night was as usual after they left restaurant. Even though Martin was free and talking during the drive, he had to discuss something with his assistant during the dinner. Lucy was siping her sweet lime and looked outside the window unexpectedly replaying Aaron's last words.

When she came down for dinner after getting ready, the living room was filled with bags and boxes. She recognized those from a distance itself, those were her's which she forgot last night.

But something was a miss with the count, she picked her phone and dialed Aaron's number.

On the other side of the phone, Aaron was looking through some documents while lying on the bed with his back in a bath robe. His skin was glistening in the sunlight that entered through the glass windows. He looked like a Greek God, with his silky blonde hair all over the place.

The moment he saw his phone ringing, he picked the call in the second ring knowing it's Lucy. ”Good Morning, Lucy”, his deep voice travelled through the mobile. Lucy's lips curled up on hearing his voice, she said in a cheerful voice, ”Good morning, Aaron”.

Aaron also smiled and said, ”Looks like you got the bags”. Lucy replied in a good mood looking through the bags with another hand, ”Yeah.... but I think some of your bags mixed in”. Aaron immediately said, ”Nope, those are for you. I bought those for you, as token of gratitude”.

Lucy raised both her eyebrows and stuttered, ”Uh... You have already paid for the entire day. There is no need for these gifts, Aaron”. But he brushed off saying, ”Oh! Come on, Lucy. When you visit Milan I will take you shopping and you can buy me gifts”. Lucy smiled and said, ”Okay! Okay!”

Then they chatted for a while till Valerie called Lucy for Breakfast. After eating she went to the hospital.

At Kozhaksi Mansion,

It's 8 o clock in the morning, the little marshmallows had slept in, as Varun was all over Ren and Diya's head was resting on Ren's left hand. He has been awake for half an hour without opening his eyelids. He has been thinking of a way to face her since he woke up.

He took a deep breath thinking that he will say whatever that comes to his mind and opened his eyes slowly. When he slowly turned to his left, next to Diya the bed had a pillow instead of her. He slowly picked Varun off him and placed the little fella on the bed carefully.
