34 Where is Mommy? (2/2)

After 3 minutes, a voice was heard from the other end, ”Mam?... Where are you? The whole office is looking for you!” Ria told her, ”Postpone the audition for 15 minutes. Come to the conference room 3 with a make up bag and don't tell anyone, anything else.” Then Ria hung up the phone next second.

In 5 minutes, a knock was heard on the door. Ria opened it, Peggy came with a makeup bag. She saw her red nose, red cheeks and red swelled eyes. But she didn't ask anything. She gave her the make up bag and stood silent next to the door.

'Where is she? Car is still in the parking lot. She didn't leave the office. She is nowhere to be seen in the entire office. She didn't take the lift, there is no camera in the staircase but I checked it out. She is not in the audition room too. It has just been 10 minutes, I am already going crazy', Ren's mind was messy.

Ren's phone rang, it was Darren. He thought, 'If only this idiot didn't walk in with Varun, I might have had another kid.' Ren picked the call and asked in a very cold tone possible, ”What?” There was a silence on other end for few seconds then a voice came over, ”Sister-in-law.... postponed the meeting for.... 15 minutes”.

Ren's eyes grew wide and he asked, ”Where is she?” Darren's shaking voice was heard, ”We don't know!” Ren shouted, ”Then, why the hell are you talking to me?” Darren gulped his saliva and said, ”She will come to the audition in 15 minutes you can find her there.”

Ren said immediately, ”Cancel the audition, no one should be there when she comes and no should come in untill I say so. Take care of Varun and Diya, switch off the cctv in that room. It should be done before I reach the room”.

Darren said with fear, ”But...” Ren interrupted, ”Just because you are my brother, it doesn't mean I won't fire you!” Darren gulped his words down this time and said, ”Roger!” Then Ren hung up on the phone.

Ria came with Peggy to the audition room in the building next to Main building, which was one of the training room for artists. Darren was waiting for her at the door of the room and he smiled immediately as soon as he saw her.

Ria did her make up, but the red strains in her face was still visible. Her eyes was swelled up. Darren understood somewhat and said, ”Sister-in-law, everything is ready. I prepared everything myself”. Ria didn't mind and walked in the door.

When she entered the room, it was empty and full of mirrors on four sides with air conditioners working. Actually not empty, Ren who was wearing his white shirt and blue trousers was sitting on the sofa, looking at her with murderous intent.
