A lot of things ha happened to QL Group these few days.

Because of Zhao Wei's scandal, their share dropped and QL Group had suffered terribly. When the others heard the news that Li Mu Bai had resigned, the share went further down. QL Group was facing a crisis.

Although Li Ren Xin wanted to ask his granddaughter and Zhang's family to help him with the matter, Li Ren Xin was too embarrassed.

During their next meeting, the shareholders were going to discuss their next move to deal with their problem. They needed to do something to protect the QL Group. If the company went bankrupt, hundreds of their employee might lose their source of income.

Li Qin Yao knew nothing about any of it until Zhang Yu Han returned her phone back to her.

When Li Qin Yao switched on her phone again that morning, she was shocked upon seeing hundreds of missed calls and messages. She then spent her time to go through each message and replied to her friends by telling them that she was alright.

If it was up to Zhang Yu Han, he would want to confiscate her phone and let her rest, however, Li Qin Yao had convinced him that she will only pick up and replied to her close friends. Thus, Zhang Yu Han had reluctantly agreed to let her keep her phone with her.

It was then that she received a phone call from Li Ming Han who then told her that she has to stay in Capital City to attend the shareholder's meeting.

According to Li Ming Han, the shareholders were going to vote and choose someone new to replace Li Mu Bai's position.

After thinking and discussing the matter with her husband, the two of them decided to stay for a few days.

As the couple entered their suite, Li Qin Yao immediately stood on tiptoed and linked her arms around Zhang Yu Han's neck. Seeing the way his wife was acting, Zhang Yu Han raised a brow.

”Zhang Yu Han. Is it alright for you to stay here with me?” Li Qin Yao asked as she met her husband's gaze.

”Why wouldn't it be alright? This is also a hotel that belonged to Zhang's group. I can always work from here. It wouldn't make much difference. Stop thinking too much,” Zhang Yu Han said. He sneaked his arms around her waist to pull her closer and pressed her lips to her forehead. ”Don't forget what you have promised me. Didn't you say you will continue to rest once we returned to our room?”

Li Qin Yao looked at her husband with a pout.

Zhang Yu Han chuckled at her expression. ”Making that cute face isn't going to change my mind. Come on. Go and get rest.”

Li Qin Yao let out a sigh in resignation before she released her arms and took a step back from him.

Just as she was about to get into the bed and continue to rest, her phone suddenly rang. Li Qin Yao turned to her husband with an innocent look on her face before she looked at the caller ID. She lifted her phone and showed the screen to her husband. ”I have to take this call. It's Fan Yun Xi.”
