Chapter 111 - We must have been sisters (2/2)

”She will not. We both dressed up.”

Xia Rou was elated. ”Then what are you waiting for? Let's go right now, quick!”

”I also took a few photos with her. She looks so adorable. You should...”

”Show me later.” Xia Rou grabbed her daughter's hand and ran out with her. You would think it was an emergency.

______

”What took you so long?” As expected, a certain consort who had been banished to the cold palace was unhappy.

Wan Jia on the other hand was bursting in happiness. She kicked off her shoes into different directions and literally collapsed onto the sofa. ”I was with Sis Lihua. She gave me this dress and even styled my hair. Don't I look cute? We took photos together. You don't know but Sis Lihua is too cool! She must have been my sister in my previous life.” The girl rambled on and on making Lu Aotian wonder just how she was able to make friends and become so close in such a short amount of time.

”Why do you still look sulky?” She asked when she noticed his mood didn't look too good.

”You left me for a whole day and didn't even answer my calls. Can't I be unhappy for a bit?”

”You can't.” she rejected. ”I order you to be happy. Aren't I here now?”

He scanned her face and body speechlessly. How could this little girl look this adorable? Moreso, she looked even younger than she looked before he married her. If anyone publicly said that this 'underaged' girl was his woman, wouldn't he be jailed for life? But she looked kind of...sexy...

”Why are you looking at me like that?” she covered her chest when she saw what this hooligan was looking at.

”You look too adorable.” he couldn't resist anymore and took her into his arms. She was so soft and warm in his arms. No matter how many times he held her, he would never have enough.

”Stop messing around. Where is Little Jia?” she asked.

”Mommy!” Talk of the devil, the little girl ran downstairs from her playroom.

When she saw her mommy, the little girl stopped in her tracks and tilted her head.

”Mommy looks so pretty.” she complimented in awe. She was happy that her Mommy had pigtails today, just like her.

”Baby, what did you do today?”

”Mommy, Little Jia played with toys and drew Mommy and Daddy.”

At the mention of drawing, she ran to her room like she had remembered something, then she came back with her chaotic 'drawing'. At least it was slightly better than the previous one.

...

That evening at the dinner table, something unexpected happened to Wan Jia.
