Chapter 111 - We must have been sisters (1/2)

Lin Lihua held in her gasp. Was this really Wan Jia? She looked like a sixteen year old girl!

”How adorable! So so cute! Come here, let big sister hug you!”

Wan Jia rushed over obediently. To recieve such a loving hug from an older woman, it felt really nice. She did not know why Sis Lihua was nice to her but she made her feel like she had an elder sister.

Jeez...what's with these emotions? Wan Jia, she's just your friend, not your sister.

”Little Wan, can I take a picture of you using your phone? You can share it with me later.” she had just broken her own phone earlier from the shock of seeing her cute little sister.

”Wait, wait. Let me dress up too. We can take photos together.” Wan Jia liked the idea too.

Lin Lihua wore a little black strapless dress. She called over her friend who lived not too far away to take photos of them.

They contrasted each other in their styles yet neither overshadowed the other's beauty.

One looked like a cold yet elegant queen in her black dress while the other looked like a warm and obedient little princess in her pink dress. They both had lovely long legs. From an outsider's perspective, they looked different but the beauty of the two of them in the same frame was simply off the charts.

They took several photos hugging, making cute poses and teasing each other. In the end, they had more than twenty of them. One particular photo would catch everyone's eyes.

Lin Lihua was standing behind Wan Jia, overshadowing her since she was wearing high heeled shoes while Wan Jia had a pair sandals on. Lin Lihua was pretending to pull Wan Jia's hair while the latter rolled her eyes in mock disdain. They looked exactly like a pair of loving sisters bantering with each other.

.....

At a high end Villa in the north side of the city.

”Mom, we have to go to the hospital right this instant!” Lin Lihua was out of breath as she ran into her mother's room.

Hearing the mention of hospital and seeing her daughter trying to catch her breath, Xia Rou was worried. ”Lihua, are you sick? Where does it hurt? Quickly tell Mommy.”

”No. Calm down mom, I'm not sick. Look.” She gave her mother a little package.

”This is...?” Xia Rou was suspicious.

”Open it.”

Xia Rou opened it nervously only to find a hairbrush.

”You bought this for me?” she asked with her eyes squinted. It had a few strands of hair stuck between the bristles. Obviously it had not been bought. ”Could it be...” She dared not think about that.

”Yes! I helped Little Wan style her hair today. Don't worry, I haven't used that brush before.”

”She won't suspect a thing?”
