Chapter 110 - Underaged Wan Jia (1/2)

Wan Jia was still unwilling to share that experience with anyone, even with a pseudonym identity. ”Why don't we talk about both scenarios then?”

So she was really bullied. Lin Lihua thought. She did not expose her lie, it would make her feel worse.

She pretended to think before she said the one thing she had been trying very hard to find an opportunity to say. ”Your friend should stay away from X and her family.”

”Stay away?” She did not expect such an answer.

”Didn't you say X was beginning to find out her father's real personality? If I'm not wrong then your friend was most likely bullied multiple times.” Wan Jia secretly marveled at Sis Lihua's ability to analyse the situation. ”Even if she doesn't mention it, she wouldn't be very conflicted if that man did not do anything to her.”

She bit her lower lip, trying to supress her tears. ”You may be right, Sis Lihua. But will it not be selfish to leave a friend in such a state?”

”Little Wan, if the man is too sinister, he may create misunderstandings and use his own daughter to trick your friend. Unless she is willing to help her friend get a clear picture of who he really is, then she should not stay in close contact with them.”

Wan Jia had to admit Lin Lihua had a point. What happened not long ago was a good example. If she doubted Yun Xuan's father and Yun Xuan doubted her man at the same time, wouldn't their friendship end tragically?

”Thanks sis Lihua.”

Lin Lihua saw her biting her lip hard and knew she was having a turmoil of contradicting thoughts in her brain.

”Right, Little Wan, I saw a beautiful hairstyle that will look really cool on you. Do you want me to help you try it?”

Wan Jia loved her hair and especially liked trying new hairstyles. She nodded.

Lin Lihua took her hand and pulled her into her bedroom. She let Wan Jia sit on the chair in front of the dressing table. Then she brought over a set of new styling brushes, two beautiful ribbons and her own styling tools.

”You style your own hair?” Wan Jia asked when she saw that she was preparing to do it herself.

”Yeah, I like doing it myself.”

Then she brushed Wan Jia's hair carefully for a rather long time before flat ironing it. When she was done, she made two tiny braids beside Wan Jia's ears before pulling her hair into pigtails and fixing them with ribbons.

Wan Jia looked at her own reflection in the mirrow with Lin Lihua standing cheekily behind her.

She looked heaven-defyingly adorable. Even Lin Lihua as a woman couldn't tear her eyes away from her. With her big eyes and soft pink lips, She would look like Little Jia's elder sister if they stood side by side.
