”I am sorry for falling in love with you. I can't help my feelings for you Cali… I tried to hide my feelings not to make you go away from me, but it's hard. All I see is you whenever I close my eyes and search for you when I open them... I just hate it whenever any man is around you. My heart aches so much seeing you smiling at some other man, Cali, because I love you so much, and the only man I want to see around you watching you smile and with you is myself.
I am not sorry for kissing you last night because I only expressed how my heart feels for you. I am leaving to give you some time to sort out your feelings… I want to give you the space that I know you need. I will always be here for you Cali, waiting for my love to be reciprocated by you…

Cali was sobbing so hard that Selya worriedly rushed to her.
”Where is he?!” she asked between her sobs. She wanted to talk to him but was unable to because when she tried to call Rui his mobile phone was turned off.
”I don't know as well, ma'am. He only told me that he will call to check how things are going on here. He wanted me to take care of all your needs…” Selya said and left when Cali dismissed her.
Cali did not have the energy to go to the school that day. She did not even have the appetite for breakfast, but she tried to eat a little while she imagined Rui sitting in front of her and scolding her for eating properly.
She grabbed her mobile phone and tried to call him again, but his phone was still off… His number still could not be reached.
She typed a message on her mobile phone for Rui but erased it. She just could not find the right words to express herself. Cali felt like crying again but tried hard not to.
It was her fault that Rui left. She regretted slapping him and running away from him last night, but what had to happen had already happened. She needed to talk to Rui and tell him how she felt, but didn't know how! He could not be contacted, and she did not even know where he was or any alternate number to call and ask for his whereabouts.
Selya approached her and said, ”Ma'am, someone is at the gate. His name is Edward, and he is saying he has come to pick you up.”
Cali exhaled loudly and instructed, ”Please let him in and guide him to the living area. I need to talk to him.”
Selya nodded and left while Cali stood up, adjusted her clothes and appearance a little, and went to the living area to see Edward. Soon Edward arrived with a smile and asked in a jest, ”Oh, how was I allowed inside the house today? Your grumpy doctor agreed to let me in?”
Then his expression changed when he noticed Cali's red and swelled up eyes.
”What happened? Were you crying?” he asked in a row.
Cali shook her head and signaled him to sit beside her.
