Cali woke up late and seeing the time at her wall clock, she immediately got up and took a quick shower or else she would be late for school.

She got dressed and was about to go out through the door but abruptly stopped…

She unconsciously touched her lips. Rui's kiss still lingered on them. It was as if she could still feel his lips on hers. Her face reddened with embarrassment as she wondered how she would face him.

She obviously liked it… his kiss and him both. But she slapped him last night and ran away…

Cali bit her lips and muttered, ”I should apologize to him.”

But she felt so shy about what happened last night. She was ashamed about the slapping part when she had clearly kissed him back.

Cali covered her face with her hands and mumbled, ”What should I do?”

Today, she had a lot to fix. Last night, she sorted everything out and realized she liked Rui. More like she had fallen for him already.

She should talk to Edward about it as early as possible, today. She also had to talk to Rui and give him a proper answer instead of a slap about his confession last night.

She charged herself with enough courage by inhaling and exhaling loudly and opened her door.

She was too startled to see a woman who greeted her with her wide smile, ”Good morning ma'am. I'm Selya and I would be your nanny while sir Rui is not around. The breakfast is ready and laid out in the dining area.”

”What?!” Cali burst in a shock. Rui was not around?

Selya smiled at her and picked up something from the table. She handed her a letter while she said, ”Sir Rui told me to give you this letter, ma'am. Please have breakfast first… Later I will introduce you to your new private doctor.”

Cali helplessly sat on the chair at the dining area and slowly opened Rui's letter to her.

She bit her lower lip as it started to tremble. Her eyes welled and tears fell continuously from her eyes while reading his letter. It was the same thing he told last night, just more detailed.
