8 First day at work (1/2)

” Morning Old Adam, I am here to start my work.” Isabella greeted her life-savior with a huge grin on her face.

Adam looked at her and smiled. She was dressed in jeans and a full sleeved high collared top. She dressed so conservatively that it made Adam smile involuntarily.

Yup, currently the girl had a girl-next-door image making everyone who see her feel warm and comfortable. Adam took out a apron and handed it over to her. It is of light green color with a teddy bear on it. Isabella's mouth twitched because it is too cute for her age ah!

But, she put it on without a single word of complaint. She then tied her hair into a bun and used a simple wooden hairpin to secure it in place. She ordered a simple hair pain online as she is inspired after watching the Chinese historical dramas.

Isabella took out the cloth and spray from the cupboard and started to clean all the tables. After cleaning the tables, she arranged all the chairs and menus neatly.

Old Adam watched all her actions and smiled. He took in a good child. So, he started to bake the cakes without worrying too much.

Isabella took out a small bell and hanged it at the door, so that it makes a empty bakery. She sighed and went outside the bakery to look at her surroundings.

” Green.. Green everywhere..” Isabella smiled as she observed the huge trees which acted as a roof along the road. She liked green color, so she obviously liked this place.

Just as she was standing there with a smile plastered on her face, she heard a childish voice.

” Sis Bella..”

Isabella tilted her head and she saw a cute white bun running towards her.

” Ben..” Isabella smiled but she immediately frowned ” Why are you here so early? ”

Ben revealed an expression of hurt ” Sis, I am here to learn from you. I want to meet you but do you not want to meet me.”

Isabella chuckled with an amused expression on her face. She then crouched down to meet his face. Isabella spoke while pinching the child's cheeks ” I am so happy to see you. I did not think that you will come so early to meet me.”
