Isabella really liked Ben. So, she is thinking hard on what to say without hurting the boy.

At this time, Isabella heard a voice behind her.

” Girl, do you want to part time here?”

Isabella was given a fright and immediately turned around to see that the old man was walking towards her.

” Are you talking to me?” Isabella pointed a finger at herself..

” Other than you, who else is there here?” the old man was amused on seeing her reaction.

” Of course, it's a yes.. Thank you so much, old man.. Then what are the timings?” Isabella looked at the old man as if he is her life saver.

”Don't you want to know the pay?”

” Pay?” Isabella's mouth twitched. Yes, in the happiness of getting a job she clearly forgot to ask about her salary..

” Grandpa, I am an orphan. So, do you still want to employ me?”

Isabella didn't notice the reaction on Ben's face when he heard the word 'orphan'.

” What does you being an orphan has to do with me employing you?” the old man was flabbergasted when he saw the huge grin on the girl's face after hearing his words.

” Girl, I can pay you 10 dollars per hour.. If the sales increase, I will increase the pay. You can rest on Sunday.”

” Grandpa, don't worry. I will work even on Sundays. Money is very important to me. Can I come to work from tomorrow?”

” Alright, you can join tomorrow. I am Adam Walker..” the old man smiled on seeing her excitement. He observed her from the moment she entered his shop. He saw her happily interact with the kid. He needed someone like her, who can be free and happily interact with others.

So, he approached her with his offer. But, he never expected that she would accept so easily. He sighed when he remembered that she is an orphan.

” Do you live alone?” Adam asked the girl.
