A Miao, like magic, threw a few photos on Shen Xinglan's office table from nowhere and then ran out at a high speed when Shen I was stunned.
”Boss?” Shen II reacted and quickly turned to look at Shen Xinglan. The latter was staring at the photo and his eyes grew darker and darker.
Shen I peeped at him and then was stunned...
”Isn't this the jade pendant with a bronze mirror that Boss wants? The photographer was obviously very careful to take a few shots from all angles. There is no problem except for the poor resolution.”
”Tell the security guard to stop her.” Shen Xinglan stood up, giving off an aura of ”keep away from me or I will kill you.”
But before the security guard found her, A Miao had been stopped.
”Why are you here?” Xia Wan looked at A Miao with a shocked look.
A Miao felt that she was too unlucky. ”Why is this woman here too?”
”I just swing by here,” she said earnestly. ”And you? The same?”
Xia Wan widely opened her eyes. She really wanted to say that she was passing by too, but that was the excuse she was going to use when she met Shen Xinglan. She had suspected A Miao, and now she felt that this wicked girl had been coveting Shen Xinglan for long.
”I came to see Shen Xinglan.” She sounded impatient. ”If you have nothing to do, go home. If Grandpa knows that you are running around, he will lock you up.”
A Miao shrugged and was about to leave but she was pulled back by Xia Wan suddenly. ”You just went upstairs yourself?”
”What else can I do?” A Miao retorted. Could she expect that psycho would welcome her personally?
Xia Wan looked at the front desk in the distance and asked suspiciously, ”How could they allow you to go?”
When she had just said that she was looking for Shen Xinglan. They told her that she did not make an appointment and they would not let her in. No matter how she explained that she knew Shen Xinglan, the young lady at the front desk did not change her mind.
In the end, it was probably because she was too noisy, the lady said that she could call Shen Xinglan. But how could she know Shen Xinglan's phone number? When she was about to leave angrily, she saw A Miao coming out.
”How could I know...” A Miao could not finish talking because Xia Wan interrupted her impatiently.
”Do you have any connection with him privately? Do you have his phone number?” Xia Wan was mad as if A Miao was a mistress. Although A Miao was unwilling to explain to her, she had to.
She could not let Xia Wan know her relationship with Shen Xinglan. With that pervert's personality, he might frame a case against her.
”Miss Xia, what are you doing?”
A Miao had a bad feeling about this.
”Mr. Shen!” Xia Wan instantly changed her face and looked at the man who came over with tenderness. ”My grandfather asked me to thank you for helping A Miao last time. But...” She bitterly bit her lip. ”They won't let me go upstairs.”
Seeing this, A Miao quickly said, ”Excuse me, I have to go now!”
”Wait a minute.” Shen Xinglan said slowly. ”There is something I want to tell Miss Xia.”
Xia Wan's eyes brightened. ”Mr. Shen, please don't be so courteous. You can say whatever you want!”
Shen Xinglan pointed at A Miao, who was playing dumb aside and said, ”Please keep an eye on your family, and don't let her harass me. I don't have time to deal with irrelevant people.”
”What?” Xia Wan's face changed, and she looked at A Miao. ”Are you here for Mr. Shen?” After saying so, she suddenly realized something and quickly adjusted her expression.
”A Miao, if Youran knows about it, he will misunderstand you.”
Such a fast face-changing speed stunned A Miao. She glanced at Shen Xinglan and found a trace of disdain flashed in his eyes. However, what he said made A Miao want to kill him.
”Subject your sister to discipline and don't let her affect my impression on you.” Shen Xinglan said that before he went back.
Xia Wan dragged A Miao with her hand and said, ”Get in the car.”
Snapped! As soon as A Miao sat into the car, Xia Wan slapped her in the face before she could react.
”What do you want to do?” The little white flower turned into a poisonous spider. She looked at A Miao with a resentful look. ”You should be grateful for the Bai family recognizing you as a family member. Do you think you can gang up with Shen Xinglan? Do you know who you are? Can you match him?”
A Miao squinted at Xia Wan with a blank expression, covered her face with her hand and said, ”Since you said that I don't deserve him, what are you worrying about?”
”You bitch...”
”Shut up.” A Miao pushed her away. ”You have already owed me a slap, don't push me.”
Xia Wan opened the car door and pushed her off the car. ”Walk home yourself. I will tell Grandpa what you have done today. He will beat you.”
When the car was driven away, A Miao's face hurt when she touched it. She frowned and wanted to buy a bottle of ice water in the supermarket on the roadside to compress her face when she found that her bag was left in the car.
”I have to walk back now...” She looked at the sky. It was still in the afternoon, but it was already dark. ”I have to go back fast. It's going to rain.”

A Miao had been soaked in the rain, and the pedestrians were passing by quickly on the road. Every car went by quickly and no one ever noticed the little figure on the roadside.
Three hours later, A Miao finally walked back to the Xia family.
