”Grandpa, she is back.” As soon as she entered the door, Xia Mei stood in the living room and smirked at her triumphantly.
A Miao trembled and felt very cold. Just before she entered the house, several servants inside the home took towels and spread them on the floor.
”Don't move.” Yao Lili looked at her coldly. ”Don't stain our carpet.”
Xia Wan acted like a tender-hearted girl once again, and she looked at Xia Yongqiang with a look of distress, saying, ”Grandpa, let A Miao change her clothes first, or she will catch a cold.”

”Mom...” A Miao bit the towel to stop herself from crying. ”I don't cry; I am brave; I am strong; I have to stay alive and wait for my Dad to pick me up!”

Over and over again, she encouraged herself and pressed all the anger and dissatisfaction in the bottom of her heart. Then A Miao took a deep breath and stood up.
”Nothing to fear!” She looked at herself in the mirror and began to put makeup on her face.
In the living room, Xia Mei walked around and said, ”Why hasn't she come downstairs?”
”It's my fault...” Xia Wan seemed so sad that she was going to cry. ”If I was not so angry, I would not leave her alone, and she would not be caught in the rain.”
Yao Lili looked at her daughter in compassion, holding a cup of hot tea in her hand. ”Wanwan, don't be so kind. She can't blame us since she has done that kind of thing.”
”Yes!” Xia Mei got close to Xia Yongqiang and said, ”Grandpa, you must teach A Miao a good lesson in order to stop her from seducing my sister's man.”
Hearing this, A Miao, who came downstairs, twitched her mouth. Xia Wan was the first that saw her and said, ”A Miao, are you okay?”
”I am not dead. If you have something to say, just be quick.” She found a place to sit down, her head throbbing with pain. If she stood up, she might faint soon.

She put a bottle of medicine on A Miao's bedside table and said with a snort, ”Look, you are engaged with Youran next month. Then it won't be long before I'm with Shen Xinglan.”
