Chapter 33 The Xia Familys Interrogation (1/2)
When she entered the living room, A Miao realized that it was not the right time to come back.
”You still know you should come back!” Xia Mei was going to yell at A Miao when she saw a few people standing behind A Miao. She was stunned, and Xia Wan pushed her away before she came to her senses.
”Mr. Shen!” Xia Wan shouted in surprise. When her gaze fell on A Miao, she turned her words into a question, ”What are you doing with Mr. Shen?”
No one answered her.
A Miao didn't know how to answer her, while Shen Xinglan did not care to answer.
”Hey, I didn't lie to you!” Bai Youran walked out from behind. ”I told you that she ran away with a man, but you don't believe me!”
Xia Mei immediately yelled as well, ”I am going to tell Grandpa. The Bai family will not want a woman like you.”
”Xia Mei!” Xia Wan hurriedly stopped her. ”Let her talk. Maybe there is a misunderstanding!”
A Miao said with a smile until now, ”Go! Go quickly.”
”Mr. Shen...” Xia Wan felt anxious, but she still wore a lovely smile on her face. She looked at Shen Xinglan and said, ”What the hell is going on?!”
Shen Xinglan said indifferently, ”You should ask him.”
”Does it have something to do with me?” Seeing Shen Xinglan fixed his eyes on him, Bai Youran snorted and said, ”I didn't ask her to run with you.”
”But you lost her to someone else.” Shen Xinglan looked at Xia Wan, ”If I didn't happen to win her back, she would have been sold to Africa.”
Bai Youran said with disaffection, ”What do you mean? I didn't have money in my hand at that moment, and I said I would pick her up the next day when the money arrived.” His eyes glinted. ”Speaking of this, I want to ask if you hurt me that day?”
When he woke up that day, he was already on the plane. The people who sent him back belonged to the casino. Bai Youran asked them who had hurt him, but they just made an ambiguous statement. Therefore, he still did not know who had kicked him...
”Mr. Bai, you'd better not talk about things without evidence.” Shen II, who followed behind Shen Xinglan, reminded him, ”Otherwise we can sue you.”
Bai Youran still wanted to say back until Xia Wan said with a sad look, ”How can this happen? Youran, didn't you tell me that A Miao got lost when she was alone?”
”Get lost? She actually ran with a man.” Xia Mei echoed with pleasure.
A Miao stared at her and said, ”Are you deaf or have a problem with your brain? Can't you understand what the gentleman said?”
”Enough.” Shen Xinglan said impatiently, ”I don't want to be involved in your family stuff. I came here to ask for money.”
Then everyone was stunned. A Miao stared at him and lowered her head. ”I knew that this pervert had evil intention.”
”Mr. Shen...”
Shen Xinglan interrupted Xia Wan and said, ”I just said that I won her back. In order to do that, I lost 5 million. You should pay me the money.”
”Why us?” Xia Mei got excited. That was five million.
Xia Wan shot an angry glance at her and then bitterly bit her lip, ”Thank you, Mr. Shen. We will pay you the money. However, I don't have so much money now. It is not right to disturb the elders, so can I give you one million first?”
”Wanwan!” Bai Youran wanted to stop her, but when he saw Xia Wan's eyes, he felt very sorry. He threw the checkbook on the table and quickly wrote a check of five million. ”Here you are. I pay you.”
Shen I took over the check and had a look before he nodded to Shen Xinglan.
”Well, then we won't interrupt your sisters' gathering.” Shen Xinglan looked at A Miao with a meaningful smile on his face, ”Excuse me, I'll take my leave now.”
Xia Wan said anxiously, ”Mr. Shen, please have dinner with us! My grandfather will be back soon, and you can talk about business matters.” Then she winked at A Miao.

Seeing this, Bai Youran followed behind her. So did Xia Mei.
Only Xia Wan, who was left and felt angry, had to look at Shen Xinglan with a smile.
”I don't have time. If the Xia family wants to talk to me about business, they can make an appointment and go to my company.” Shen Xinglan said that before he turned and left.
Xia Wan looked embarrassed and followed him. When the car left, she trembled, ran back home, and rushed upstairs.
In A Miao's room, Bai Youran was questioning A Miao, ”Was it Shen Xinglan who beat me that day?”
”How could I know?” A Miao asked back. ”Do you think that I have the time to take care of you back there?”
Xia Mei looked at her with a grudge, ”Why are you coming back? You have been sold by Brother Youran. Why are you coming back?”
”I am so lucky!” A Miao was so angry that she smiled. She had never seen such a shameless person. ”I was bought back again!” She snorted. ”And in the end, it's your Brother Youran who has to pay for this!”
Bai Youran raised his hand and wanted to slap her when an angry voice rang behind him, ”What did you say, Xia Mei?”
”Sister...” Xia Mei looked at Bai Youran.
