7 Episode 7- The Meet Up (2/2)

”So Finn can I ask you something?” Mike asked.

”Yes...?” Fin answered questionably. He looked at John.

”How did you um....how do I say this...how did you get your...you know eye patch?” Mike asked as nice as possible.

”Oh well its a long story that I really don't wanna get into.” Finn said with a fake smile.

Carrie noticed Finns smile. ”Mike don't be rude.”

”Sorry..”Mike said with a scared look.

”Its alright. He just wanted to know” Finn said smiling.

”Anyways Finn how did you meet John?” Carrie asked concern.

”Well I....um....” Finn tried to say when John answered for him. ”He was one of Simon's other captives.”

”Oh...okay” Carrie said as she was still uncertain.

”How far is town?” Eva asks as she rubs Joes' hair.

”It will only take about 30 minutes.” John said wiping his face. He was sweating a lot.

”Its so far away. I just want to go home and try to forget all of this” Mike says as he sighs.

”We all do. But I don't think life will ever be normal again.” Eva says as she pats his shoulder.

”I don't think so either” Carrie says unhappy. She started to think about her dream. It was still bothering her. She knew she had to ask John about it but only when he was alone.

”I know for one thing is when I get home I'm taking a long hot shower” Mike starts to imagine it. He smiles big.

”No kidding” Bailey says smelling him.

”Bailey be nice.” Eva says giving her a disappointment look.

”Sorry...” Bailey says as she looked down.

”Okay so we go into town and go home and get clean. Then we find out what the heck happened” John says as he drove.

”How far is it now?” Mike asked wanting to go home.

”Maybe ten minutes or so. Also stop asking.” John says as he looked back at him.

”Okay sorry sir” Mike rolled his eyes.

”Don't worry. Everything will be okay” Eva said looking at her husband. She began to get worried.

They continued down the road towards town.
