”Your hand is so warm. When I passed out, I felt the same warmness in my hand. It felt someone held my hand dearly. I wonder why. Did you do it? Did you hold my hand?

Kazuto smiled. ”To be honest, I'm not just holding your hand.”

”Then?”

In answer to her question, Kazuto raised the hand he held and kissed it gently. His heavy breathing on her knuckle stirred the tiny hairs on her neck, sending a shiver into every cell of her body.

Niken lifted the blanket with her free hand covering part of her heated face because she felt embraced. Niken felt sure, in this world, only the man could make her heart pounding like crazy.

”Uhm. I have no idea that you are a straightforward person,” said Niken, still covering part of her face.

”I'm just acting like this to you.” the man's smile was so captivating to the point melting her heart.

Niken closed her eyes as she tried to control her wild thumping in her heart.

Calm down... calm down... Recited Niken in her mind. She was afraid that Kazuto would hear her drumming heart.

”Niken ... are you still afraid of me?”

”??” Why did he ask her about this?

Niken looked at Kazuto with a confused look. She pulled the blanket over her face. ”Why do you think I'm afraid of you?”

”Every time I approached you, your body shivered like a frightened person, and also... I could hear your heartbeat.”

Oh no! He could hear her heartbeat??

Well, that's not the main point. The main problem is Kazuto misunderstood her.

This was the first time Kazuto saw sparkling firm eyes of her. Are those eyes have always had the golden flecks dancing beautifully?

Previously Niken always looked at him shyly and full of tenderness. But this girl looked like she wasn't the Niken he had known at the same time he was sure this girl was Niken because he felt the fusion energy that was on the mark of the girl's neck.

The girl in front of him now had a strong aura and was not as weak as she usually has shown. He felt something powerful in Niken's inner astral that he had not realized before, had now come out of the surface.

He was sure this girl was his Niken, yet he felt like he was with a different girl.
