207 Could Not Calm Down (1/2)
Doctor Yan Han came to visit Mingyue in her office in the afternoon.
”I talked to my professor the other day, and he agreed to see you,” Doctor Yan Han said. She stood at the door and peeked her head into Mingyue's office. From the way Yan Han acted, it doesn't look like she was going to stay and chat with MIngyue for a long time. ”Will you be free to meet him next Monday in the afternoon?”
Mingyue looked up from the papers on her desk. ”I didn't think that you're going to talk to your professor this quick,” she went through the mess on the table and found her planner. She checked on her schedule and nodded. ”Sure. I don't have anything scheduled.”
”My professor was interested in your case when I told him that you have no memories of everything before you turned sixteen,” Yan Han said. She leaned forward and whispered secretly, ”He had an interesting theory. My professor seemed to think that those dreams might be a part of your memories.”
Lin Mingyue stiffened when she heard her friend's words. She thought about her dreams and chuckled. ”That's impossible,” Mingyue immediately dismissed the theory.
”How so?”
Mingyue was silent for a moment. ”It's my intuition.”
Yan Han clicked her tongue. ”I don't think we should believe in your intuition. Remember that last time your intuition told you that Nurse Zhang and Doctor Chen were in a relationship, and it turns out that they were a cousin?”
Mingyue chuckled at the memories.
”It's lunch hour,” Yan Han announced as she glanced at her watch. ”I'm going to the canteen for lunch. Why don't we go together?”
”I can't,” Mingyue smiled apologetically. ”I have to finish reading this journal today.”
”You do know that skipping lunch is bad for your health,” Yan Han pointed out.
”I know. I've asked Nurse Tang to get me lunch from the canteen,” Mingyue said. ”Don't worry about me. You should go ahead first before all the good food finished.”
Her eyes widened as Yan Han heard her friend's reminder. ”Right! I heard they're going to make spicy beef stew today. I better go first.”
Lin Mingyue shook her head as she watched Yan Han left. She took a deep breath and turned to the journal on her computer. Mingyue read a few pages of the journal before someone knocked on the door.
”Come in,” Mingyue said absentmindedly.
”Doctor Lin, someone came looking for you,” Nurse Tang announced.

Lin Mingyue looked up from her computer screen. ”Me? Who?”
Nurse Tang smiled. Then, she shifted her body to her right and revealed the other person behind her.
Mingyue's head went blank when she saw that familiar silhouette. She continued to stare at the man in disbelief with her eyes wide.
Once she was sure that her mind was not playing tricks on her, Lin Mingyue stood up abruptly.
