Ling Mo was surprised to learn that Wang Ling also had supernatural powers.

In fact, when he discovered that he could control zombies, he assumed that he wouldn’t be the only person with it in the world.

Ling Mo couldn’t even explain properly how he had gained this. When he just started running for his life, everything was too chaotic and he was too nervous. Now that he thought back to it, other than living in dread every day and barely sleeping, he had no other memories.

Rather than saying the supernatural powers suddenly appeared, it was more like his instinct just woke up at the right time.

But Ling Mo was more concerned with how to use this power to survive.

Compared to his zombie puppets, Wang Ling’s supernatural power was completely useless. The skill she relied on was her sword art.

It looked like there were weaker and stronger possessors, and each power should be different. He wondered how many people possessed powers in this city.

Ling Mo thought that people like him and mutated zombies had something in common.

If having supernatural powers was a kind of evolution, then those humans with powers were like mutated zombies.

Perhaps mutated zombies could continue to evolve. Could people with powers also evolve? Perhaps they had to experience it for themselves to find the answer…

After Ling Mo and the others left, Wang Ling finally breathed deeply.

After waking up from the overwhelming fear, her eyes became red and she suddenly knelt down on the ground as she lost energy.

What Ling Mo said before he left was ringing inside her head.

“Remember, don’t do anything that makes me unhappy. There is no next time.”

When Ling Mo said it with ice-cold eyes, she felt fear rising from the bottom of her heart.

After they went downstairs, Xia Na suddenly asked in a low voice, “You didn’t kill her… Why…”

“Huh?” Ling Mo was confused.

Xia Na continued, “I could feel it… You wanted to kill…”

Ling Mo’s expressions changed. Indeed, he wanted to kill Wang Ling, but considering that she was Xia Na’s cousin and perhaps the only relative Xia Na had, he gave up on that thought.

Although she gave her some problems, from the result alone, she didn’t make him lose anything. However, Ling Mo taught her a lesson and even took her last weapon.

Ling Mo was surprised that Xia Na looked bewildered all the time but was secretly observing everything and thinking about it clearly…

“She’s your cousin. I won’t kill her because of you.” Ling Mo smiled and replied.

“I don’t understand…” Xia Na nodded, “But if you kill… Don’t know why… Maybe I will feel… uncomfortable.”

“Mhm, you two are related by blood after all.”

When Ling Mo was going to take them away, he suddenly noticed that there was something on Xia Na’s neck. He was curious and pulled her back, sweeping the hair on her chest aside.

Xia Na looked like she was struggling. “Don’t squeeze…”

“I’m not going to squeeze your boobs! Do I look like that kind of person to you?” Ling Mo glared at Xia Na righteously and took out whatever was hanging from her neck.

It was an extremely fine mini jade blade and it looked like it had been made for a while. Although Ling Mo wasn’t familiar with jades, he knew that it was extremely precious. The carvings were meticulous and it was cold and smooth by touch. The handle of the knife had a character carved in seal script: Wang.

When Ling Mo helped Xia Na shower, he didn’t see it there before.

“When did this…”

When they left, Xia Na walked behind the others and Wang Ling seized the chance to pass this onto Xia Na.

Ling Mo was distracted and he couldn’t help but look back to the hotel behind him.

Wang Ling’s attitude was different from what she showed. Did she come here to give this to Xia Na as well as getting her dagger back?

Not to mention her intentions, he really didn’t like her method. After this, she was supposed to have learned a lesson.

“Isn’t this her family’s family heirloom?” Ling Mo sighed and put it back under Xia Na’s collar. But he suddenly realized something and looked amazed. “Xia Na, you recognized Wang Ling, didn’t you? Or you wouldn’t have allowed her to come closer to you, let alone tie the jade on your neck!”

“Hmm. I know her. She is my sister…” Xia Na finally nodded certainly and pointed at her brain, “I thought a lot, but it’s messy.”
