“Oi, wake up.”

Ling Mo pinched Wang Ling’s chin and rotated her face to face himself. Wang Ling frowned even though she was in a coma. Her face was extremely pale as if she was extremely terrified.

Wang Ling slowly opened her eyes after hearing Ling Mo’s voice. She abruptly struggled and screamed in terror, “Don’t touch me! Don’t touch me!”

“Calm down!” Ling Mo quickly grabbed Wang Ling and spoke in a low voice. She was struggling furiously but she didn’t have much energy as she just woke up. Although her movements were big, she didn’t shake Ling Mo off.

Wang Ling was shocked by Ling Mo’s vigorous scolding and suddenly woke up. “What are you doing here? Argh! Zombies, where are those zombies?!” She nervously looked down at her clothes.

How did she compare to her arrogance from before? Ling Mo immediately laughed coldly.

After he scared Wang Ling until she fainted, he brought Xia Na and Ye Lian over, leaving a zombie to watch over Wang Cheng.

After all, his purpose wasn’t as simple as teaching her a lesson, but he needed to find out how she found him.

Seeing that she was still in shock, Ling Mo raised his eyebrows silently and pointed it to the door. “There.”

Wang Ling looked towards the direction Ling Mo pointed and let out a long breath. The bodies of the zombies were right next to the door with the girls standing outside.

“You…” Wang Ling turned around and asked in surprise, “Don’t tell me you saved me?”

That was the result he wanted! Although he directed and played it all, who would have imagined that these zombies had something to do with him?

In fact, until now, Wang Ling thought that it was a “new” type of zombie, and a perverted type!

Ling Mo sneered, “Your scream was way too loud…”

Wang Ling immediately froze, but her cheeks turned red. She wanted to argue back but considering that Ling Mo just saved her, she could only keep her mouth shut and snorted through her nose.

“What? I saved you and you don’t even thank me for it?” Ling Mo rolled his eyes. This girl was really unlikable.

Wang Ling’s expressions turned awkward but when she saw Ling Mo’s teasing glance, she replied calmly, “At worst, I can give you that dagger for free.”

Ling Mo immediately fumed.

“So your life is only worth a dagger.” Ling Mo snorted and stood up. “You should accept the reality. The dagger was already mine. I don’t need you to give it to me.”

“You!” Wang Ling was annoyed but lacked confidence when Ling Mo looked at her in disdain.

Seeing that Ling Mo didn’t plan to pull her up, Wang Ling clenched her teeth and helped her up with the help of the wall. “What do you want then? I don’t have anything to give to you right now. Oh, my machete!”

Wang Ling looked around on the ground but her heart turned cold when she found nothing. Then, she turned to Ling Mo.

As expected, Ling Mo pulled out the machete from behind his waist as she looked out and played it in her hands. Wang Ling tried to seize it away from him, but instead of returning it to her, he just sneered coldly.

“Don’t go overboard! I already gave you my dagger. Now, you want to take this too?” Although Wang Ling didn’t have much energy, she struggled as she threw herself towards it.

Ling Mo was as skilled as Wang Ling. He simply stepped to the side and Wang Ling missed him.

Wang Ling was flustered and exasperated. Seeing that she couldn’t seize it from him, she turned to Xia Na and yelled, “Xia Na! I’m your cousin! Why are you helping an outsider bullying me?!”

Xia Na lifted her head up and glanced at her after she heard the yell but turned her back against Wang Ling without expressions.

This action completely agitated Wang Ling but when she just stepped forward, Ling Mo stretched his hands out and stopped her. “Stop.” His eyes became sharp. “Who’s the outsider?”

“I’m talking to Xia Na. Why are you butting in…”

“Do you have the right to complain about her when you treat her with that attitude? I’m telling you. While you relied on Song Tian and abused people, Xia Na relied on herself and supported a dozen of people. Can you do that? She’s ten times stronger than you in every perspective!”

Wang Ling froze in place and her expressions immediately darkened as she twitched her lips. “Don’t you dare think that you can talk to me like this just because you saved m…”

A clear sound made Wang Ling widen her eyes in shock and froze.

She covered one side of her face and looked at Ling Mo in disbelief. “How dare you slap me…” Before she could finish speaking, a sense of chilliness shot up from the bottom of her feet.

Ling Mo looked at her icily and she thought that no one had looked at her this way before, “Slap you? That’s a light lesson. If you weren’t Xia Na’s cousin and half of my sister-in-law, you would have been ripped into pieces by those zombies now.”

“How dare you slap me!” Wang Ling dashed forward and Ling Mo slapped her roughly again.

“I dare because I’m stronger than you.” Wang Ling’s face became pale while Ling Mo approached her slowly with an icy face. “I dare because the stronger one has the power to speak in this world.”

“You…” Wang Ling’s cheeks burned under Ling Mo’s distaste as she finally felt a sense of dread.

She took two steps back uncontrollably and replied frenetically, “Didn’t you say I’m your sister-in-law..”

“That depends if I want to accept you or not. Didn’t you say I’m an outsider? I’m going to return that to you.” Ling Mo lifted his hand up and the action made Wang Ling tremble. She couldn’t help but squint her eyes but Ling Mo only patted her cheeks with a cold sneer. “Listen, I’m not a wicked person beyond redemption, but I can’t promise what I’m going to do when someone is trying to give me trouble as much as she could.”

“What do you want to do… Xia Na won’t let you…” Wang Ling’s face became ashen. Ling Mo’s actions reminded her of the zombies… Did he want to rape her?!
