Wang Ling was extremely pleased with herself after she came back. But when they entered the alley, she gestured to Li Yu and Wang Cheng to stop.

She carefully looked inside the alley but screamed as soon as she poked her head out.

A zombie covered in blood silently threw himself at her from the side with a metal rod in his hands! As soon as Wang Ling’s head emerged, the metal rod slashed horizontally at her.

Although it slided down her cheek and didn’t actually hurt her, she completely froze in place!

She had never seen a zombie who knew how to hide itself and sneak on people, let alone a zombie who knew how to use weapons…

But she reacted well and instinctively fought back when she was still in shock. She quickly aimed for the zombie’s hands with her machete.

As zombies never backed off, the zombie should lift its arms and continue to attack when Wang Ling aimed for its hand. With both forces, the zombie would definitely lose its arms.

However, she never expected the zombie to take a step back. As it dodged her machete, it waved the metal rod in its hands ferociously again!

Wang Ling quickly dodged the metal rod but she was extremely flexible and when she dodged the attack, the machete in her hands struck the metal rod in the zombie’s hands.

Clang! A clear clang between the metals sounded and when Wang Ling hit the machete, she twisted her wrist, turning the strike into a slice as she followed the metal rod and attempted to cut the zombie’s right hand.

Her actions and reactions were swift. In addition, her technique was also trained. She thought that she would definitely cut off the hand for sure.

Li Yu was about to dash over but stopped and silently complimented Wang Ling’s moves.

But none of them ever expected that when their attention were caught by this ‘strange’ zombie, a zombie would suddenly appear behind Wang Cheng, who was standing at the back, cover his mouth, and swiftly drag him to the side.

Wang Ling indeed didn’t miss the attack. As blood splashed, three fingers were cut off cleanly and the metal rod fell to the ground with a clear clang.

This kind of wound wasn’t effective in stopping the zombie at all and Wang Ling was well aware of it. After she got rid of the zombie’s weapon, she took a step forward and lifted the machete up again.

From her experience alone, zombies would ignore their wounds as long as the wounds didn’t affect their movements and they wouldn’t stop attacking. Thus, the zombie should charge at her and her machete would chop the zombie just in time…

However, what happened next was something she never expected!

After the zombie lost its weapon, it abruptly turned around and dashed inside a building!

It ran away! The zombie escaped!

Wang Ling’s expressions became terrified and Li Yu couldn’t even close his mouth in shock.

It knew how to fight, how to use weapons, and how to escape… If they didn’t see its bloodshot eyes and distorted face, they wouldn’t have believed that it was a zombie even if they died.

Wang Ling was almost beat up by the zombie and she fumed as the zombie escaped.
