Although City X was large and zombies could be seen anywhere, Ling Mo wasn’t completely lost.

He already decided on the next destination last night. City X University was not far from where they were.

Although the university wasn’t the only high-level educational establishment, it was the one that Ling Mo was the most familiar with. After all, Ye Lian was a student there and he had been there quite a few times.

The university was large and the environment was rather complex. It used to be a bustling area and there were numerous zombies there… It was Ling Mo’s guess of the current state of City X University.

A place like this was the best place for hunting down mutated zombies! As for the lurking danger…Well, Ling Mo was aware that no pain resulted in no gain.

But as soon as he stepped out of the clothing store, he froze in place before he abruptly backed off, hiding in the shadows of the store.

Three people appeared in the plaza!

The most unbelievable part was that he knew all three of them, and he just saw them yesterday… Wang Ling, Li Yu and… Wang Cheng!

How did Wang Cheng join them? Even if he flattered those two, it was way too fast for him to be included.

The first possibility that came into Ling Mo’s mind was that perhaps Wang Cheng told Wang Ling what happened to Xia Na?

If Wang Cheng was dumb like Lu Xin, it was very likely that he would do that. But Ling Mo thought that Wang Cheng was the type who knew what should be said and what shouldn’t be said.

In addition, he didn’t have any upright problems with Ling Mo. Ling Mo never had any thoughts of killing him. Although Ling Mo could control zombies, he wasn’t a maniac.

Perhaps it was Li Yu’s first time acting in a small group. Thus, he continuously looked around nervously as he grasped a sharped steel rod in his hand. Wang Ling held a machete as she lead the way. Wang Cheng followed her tightly behind her.

Ling Mo noticed that there was fresh blood on Li Yu’s rod immediately. His clothes were stained as well while blood dripped down Wang Ling’s machete. It looked like they already had a bloody battle on the way here.

Li Yu was a decent fighter and it wasn’t strange to see him like this. How could Wang Ling’s sick and weak body kill zombies?! Whether she was afraid or not… Ling Mo couldn’t really tell from her usual, pale face.

But why did they come here?

Wang Ling walked straight in the square and immediately noticed the blood stains and the torn flesh on the ground. She walked over and took a few looks at it before turning to the buildings around the square.

Ling Mo took a step back silently as Wang Ling looked towards his direction. Ye Lian also stayed motionless under his control. Xia Na seemed to be fretful but Ling Mo soothed her.

Soon, Wang Ling discovered the teahouse hiding in the corner. She walked at Li Yu who was looking around and she ran to the teahouse.

Wang Ling smiled pleasingly after she saw the dead zombies on the ground. Wang Cheng looked at her in surprise and immediately flattered, “Sister Ling, you are amazing!”

“Weren’t you flattering that Ling dude all the time?” Wang Ling replied unkindly.

Wang Cheng smiled awkwardly, “Sister Ling, I didn’t dare to lie to you because you were asking me about his skills and power.”

“I’ll let know if you are lying to me or not once I get hold of him. I’ve warned you before we left; if you dare to trick me, I’ll throw you outside and let you perish on your own!” Wang Ling snorted coldly.

Wang Cheng immediately felt cold sweat dripping down. He glanced at Wang Ling annoyingly and secretly swore how unlucky he was.

If he had known this, he wouldn’t have kissed her ass in the first place! Wang Cheng revealed some things about Ling Mo since she was asking about Ling Mo curiously. Wang Cheng wanted to become closer to this girl who obviously had some status in the group. However, he didn’t expect himself to be dragged out of the campus as soon as he entered it! Luckily, this girl was almost as strong as Xia Na. His life wasn’t threatened in any way on the way here.

But damn it! The person she wanted to get a hold of was Ling Mo! Wang Cheng wanted to turn around and run as he thought of this. He knew that he would be dead for sure if he left Wang Ling’s side. Even if he was extremely terrified at the thought of it, he had to follow Wang Ling closely.

Liu Yuhao on the other side, kept his mouth shut, and escaped from this…

“Holy cow…” Li Yu saw the scene in front of him and froze.

“See? Didn’t I say that he wouldn’t be able to run away from me? Look at the bodies. Blood is still flowing out. They just died not long ago.” Wang Ling cast a side glance at Li Yu as if she was pleased with his reaction.
