Li Yu walked around the dead zombie pile and he couldn’t help but swallow his saliva down. “But Sis Ling, we haven’t exactly caught up to them yet, we have? It looks like they left already.”

“Nothing to worry about. We’ll catch up to them today for sure.” Wang Ling replied carelessly.

“But…” Li Yu hesitated, but made the decision after looking at the bodies on the ground, “Even if we catch up to him, we can’t win against him…”

His heart almost stopped after he said this and he avoided eye contact with Wang Ling. After Wang Ling heard it, her expressions became ugly.

“Sis Ling, I came out with you in secret. Leader Song will definitely scold us once we go back. You’ve seen it. This guy is good and he killed all these zombies here.” Li Yu forced himself to continue.

Wang Ling glared at Li Yu annoyingly. “Are you dumb?! How could he kill so many zombies by himself? Xia Na definitely helped him! She won’t fight me and I don’t believe that sneaky thief can win against me!”

Wang Cheng wanted to say something but as soon as he saw Wang Ling’s unkind face, he immediately decided to keep his mouth shut.

Li Yu was speechless. He fell silent for a while but asked curiously, “Sis Ling, can you tell me how did you know which way they went?”

“I can’t tell you.” Wang Ling snorted coldly as she turned to the shops. She then muttered in an inaudible voice, “It sucks that I can’t pinpoint his location accurately! But he must be somewhere near here!”

Ling Mo left out a breath after watching Wang Ling and the others stop at the teahouse temporarily before leaving through another street.

This girl obviously came for him as it looked like she didn’t want to give up on her dagger. But Ling Mo thought that wanting the dagger back was only part of the reason. She needed to restore her face.

As expected, one could never judge a person by their appearance. This girl looked sick and weak and Ling Mo thought that she would be the gentle type to talk softly. However, she wasn’t only forceful and overbearing, but she also had a bad habit of nagging!

They were in an apocalypse and she still forced people to come out looking for him! I only took your dagger, not your virginity!

But how did she know that he was here? Ling Mo couldn’t understand that no matter how much he pondered.

After mumbling to himself for a while, Ling Mo finally brought Ye Lian and Xia Na out of the clothing store after guessing that they were far away now. Then, he picked a completely opposite route to Wang Ling and the others.

It wasn’t because he was scared of her, but because Xia Na was still with him. The best option was to run away from her because she couldn’t possibly continue to hunt him down.

If she really wants to, then she can do as she pleases! The city is huge and zombies are everywhere. Let’s see if you can go find me!

Ling Mo secretly swore and turned into an alley on the side. However, he didn’t know that immediately after he went into the alley, Wang Ling appeared at the entrance of that street again.

She smiled coldly as she watched Ling Mo walking into the alley. “Caught ya. How dare you steal my dagger and rip off Song Tian…”

Ling Mo suddenly stopped after he was barely 200 meters into the alley. He turned around and his face darkened.

He left Ye Lian at the entrance of the alley temporarily and through her eyes, he could clearly see Wang Ling and the others walking across the square towards here.

“So something is fishy. She knows my location…” Ling Mo snorted gloomily. He quickly glanced around him and hid into an internet cafe with Xia Na while ordering Ye Lian to come back.

There were quite a few zombies there. He could see approximately more than ten. But because of the obstacles, they weren’t too big of a threat to Ling Mo.

Leaving behind four zombies he controlled, he killed the rest of them and hid on the second floor of the internet cafe with Ye Lian and Xia Na.

There were a few more zombies he killed on the way here but he knew that Wang Ling could easily guess that he was hiding somewhere near there. Still, it would be difficult for her to search for him one by one.

Ling Mo knew that Wang Ling only had a rough location of him. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have missed him in the plaza if she knew his exact location. But the girl was smart. She came back after pretending that she had left. Ling Mo wasn’t stupid either; he didn’t think that the route he detoured a few times could be found so coincidentally and hence, he left Ye Lian at the entrance just in case.

Seeing that Ye Lian’s distance was about to exceed from his control and he was about to tell Ye Lian to follow him, Wang Ling came.

“…And the soul of a deceased has not yet dispersed.” Ling Mo cursed angrily. He looked towards the four zombie puppets behind him and smiled oddly.

Since you won’t stop nagging me, I don’t mind giving you a taste of suffering…
