Getting out of the car Lei Xinyi was struck with shock. The place was decorated with a historic china touch to it.

It also had some rather too old antiques on display that were sold at eyes-widening prices. Being able to look at it from a distance could have been a dream to a common man.

Getting out Li Yuan didn't wait for her to get over her shock but walked inside unfazed, seeing him walking away Lei Xinyi got out of her daze and followed him abruptly.

As Li Yuan walked to the counter the receptionist greeted him with a sultry smile to which Lei Xinyi rolled her eyes, ”Good Afternoon, Young Master Li! Your private room is ready.”

A private room was a far cry even a table had to be booked a year prior. Lei Xinyi knew well he couldn't have known that they were going to come here year before.

He must have great wealth and influence to be able to book a private room on short notice.…

Ignoring the receptionist antics, Li Yuan walked straight in the direction of the room. Lei Xinyi followed him like a chick following mother hen.

Lei Xinyi said in an amused tone, ”Hmm… Are you trying to impress me by bringing me in a high-end restaurant for lunch? Are you trying to compensate me for almost murdering me? I am not going let this matter go…!”

”I own this place.” Lei Xinyi heard the calm voice of Li Yuan from ahead of her stopping her rant.

'Oh! How rich was this man to own a place like this?! I will definitely steal a souvenir from him too. After all he owed me that much for trying to kill me.' Lei Xinyi smirked while thinking that.

Getting inside the private suite Lei Xinyi couldn't keep her eyes from wandering around. The place was exquisite as its owner. Magnificent was all she could say to describe the place.

Just like Li Yuan didn't open the car door for her, he also didn't pull her chair for her. Instead like a emperor went straight to the seat opposite and started viewing the menu.

Lei Xinyi scoffed. How gentlemanly! If it was up to her she would strangle him or better yet poison him...

”Are you waiting for the chair to come to you.” She heard the lazy voice of Li Yuan interrupting her train of thoughts.

Clenching her teeth Lei Xinyi went and angrily thumped on the seat opposite him.

Li Yuan saw the girl fuming in anger and smirked from behind the menu. Then he passed the menu to her for ordering.

Lei Xinyi deliberately marked all the most expensive dishes and in a quantity that she will never be able to eat.

'He likes to flaunt his wealth, so then be it.' Lei Xinyi thought gritting her teeth and then marked the most expensive wine on the menu too.
