There was nothing to hide anything, to begin with. After all, Wang Lei never tell them to not disclose his identity to others.

”Sensei?” Sona's brow raised as interest flashed in her eyes, ”So he really is not a normal human, huh. I had doubts since it was just too unnatural for an 18-year-old person to adopt a girl year younger than himself. It doesn't make sense.”

Rias was surprised that Wang Lei has adopted someone before she asked, ”Adopted? He adopted someone?”

It was Sona's time to surprise, seeing as Rias did not know that.

'Doesn't she know him?'

”That's right,” nodding, Sona continued, ”One of the transfer students called him… daddy… according to him, she is his adopted daughter.”

Sona still felt unnatural when she remembered how Myu addressed Wang Lei.

Seeing her flushed expression, Rias was amused.

””Buchou! (Kaichou!)”” hearing the call of Akeno and Tsubaki, both Rias and Sona frowned as they felt the energy of Fallen coming in their direction.

”A Fallen Angel? What are they doing here?” Sona wondered, but she saw Rias's deep frowned face, ”Do you know Rias?”

Taking a deep breath, Rias explained, ”… They have been after my servant, Issei. It seems that they wanted to kill him before he grows his Sacred Gear and become a dangerous entity.”

Sona also frowned, hearing her before she stood up, ”Where are you going?” Rias asked.

”Where? Of course, I am going to do something about Fallen Angell. We can't let them hurt normal humans here.”

Rias shook her head, ”Don't worry. Even if the whole Fallen Angel army came here, I don't think they would be able to do much.”

Surprised and astonishment flushed on Sona's and Tsubaki's faces. They wondered: Just how strong is that man for Rias to say that.

Both of them knew Rias is not one to lie. And definitely not delusional.

Then does that mean that Wang Lei was strong? Strong enough to hold the whole army of Fallen Angel?

Sona did not know. Tsubaki did not know. But since Rias said, they could at least believe her. Though doubt still remained in their minds.

”Sensei~!” hearing the fangirl-type squeal of the girls, the girls' attention diverted towards the coming young man.

”Thanks for coming to my café~. Today's treat is on me! So enjoy yourself as much as you guys like!”

”Yah~!”

”Thank you, Sensei~!!” ”You are the best!”

Sona did not know what to feel right now. Looking at Wang Lei, who was smiling and comforting his fangirl-type base, she was conflicted.

Why she was conflicted? Because she could feel nothing. Like literally nothing from Wang Lei. He felt like any other normal human here in this shop.

Except for his handsome features, Sona could not differentiate him from normal humans.

”Are you sure Rias? I mean, he looks pretty normal to me,” she questioned, trying to make sure if Rias is not overestimating him or anything.

”Can you split the earth in two with a single sword strike? And a nonchalant one at that,” Rias asked with a dead look in her eyes. Even Akeno and Koneko had the same look, as if in remembrance of something they do not want to remember.

”Wha- obviously not! Even Maous would not be able to achieve such feat!” Sona denied it without thinking.

Splitting earth into two with a single sword strike? And nonchalant at that? Sona can't imagine. She can't imagine a single person with such skills — at her current level of knowledge, that is.

'Why is she asking such a thing? Is he able to do such a thing? That is inconvincible!'

Rias smiled bitterly before pointing her finger at Wang Lei with her head resting on her other hand, ”His wife can; she can split the earth into two with a single sword strike. And he can do that same, probably.”

Sona's and Tsubaki's eyes widen in the extreme as they looked towards Wang Lei. Their eyes holding different emotions. Astonishment, bewilderment, reverence, and… fear. A feat that even Maou cannot achieve. Just what kind of monster one needed to achieve it? At least, they did not know.

Despite seeing them, Wang Lei did not go to them. He had to welcome uninvited guests, after all.

'I have not killed for some time now. I can't have myself dulled now; now can I?' with a feral grin, Wang Lei walked out of the café.

Has he become a serial killer? Of course, not. He just thought about the line because he felt that it's kind of cool. Though he would not admit it, he was chunni after all.

Standing outside, Wang Lei looked above in the sky where three Fallen Angel stood or were flying. Their black wings shinning under the dim light of the moon, giving the ethereal look.

”Is this the person who killed Dohnaseek?” seeing Wang Lei, Raynare questioned.

”Who knows? All I know that the one who killed him had long silver hair. He seems to have it,” Shrugging, Kalawarna grinned.

Her answer was simple. If he has silver hair, then just capture him and question him. In the end, he was just a lowly 'human'. They could capture and kill them anytime they wanted.

So what if he was a magician? In the end, being human had already set his limits. Without a power full of Sacred Gear or Longinus, there was no way for a human to become stronger.

Since their bodies could take only so much mana. Their container was just too small. Unlike supernatural entities like them.

”What can I help you? If you want to come to my café, you will need to fill certain conditions,” Wang Lei does not seem to be offended by her remark but smiled gently at them.

”Oh~. What conditions?” Ranynare smiled, at the same time, she was trying to get as much visual information as she could, trying to find if there is another enemy except him.

”Well, there are not much. Just, before midnight, no supernatural entity is allowed. If you can hide your supernatural side, then that might be a different story,” as a good manager, Wang Lei answered.

”Too bad. We are not here for the café today,” scoffing, Raynare continued, ”Where is the 'witch'? If you give her back peacefully, then I might forgive you.”

After finding that there was no other person around here, Raynare decided to cut off the chase. She wanted to take Asia as fast as possible and finish the ritual. She did not want another accident to happen.

”Witch? Ai~,” sighing like an old man, Wang Lei rubbed the back of his head, ”You will have to forgive me then, as I don't know any witch here.”

A frown took on Raynares' face, ”Shut up lowly human and give that bitch back! Do you think I have the patience to play with you? If you did not give her within a minute, then—”

”Then? Will you give me the worst torture that I'll beg for my death?” cutting her off, Wang Lei asked with an amused smirk on his face, ”Leave it. Just come at me together. This is just a waste of time when we know you are going to die in the end.”

Kalawarna threw a spear of light at him. She was at the end of her patient. This bastard was just playing with them!

Wang Lei's smile widens as he leaned his head to right a little, letting the spear pass from there.

But there was his café behind. He can't damage his café now, can he?

So, before the spear completely passes him, he captured it with his right hand.

The sound of sizzling filled the surroundings.

Shattered! As he put a little strength in his grasp, the spear of light shattered like a fragile glass falling on the ground. Scattering the light in the air.

”Hmmm. I've been quite interested in your bloodline, you know~. I'll be refining it, okay~? Though it will hurt like bitch!” with a sadistic smile on his face, Wang Lei said.

”Even though you are a human, at least you are capable. How about this? Why don't you join our side? We can give you anything that you dėsɨrė,” seeing as that Wang Lei could be a troublesome opponent, Raynare suggested.

Kalwarna frowned in dissatisfaction. But Raynare was their leader, currently. She could only swallow her dissatisfaction.

”Join you? Will you give me anything that I wish for?” Wang Lei said, ”Then I am currently interested in some things. Will you give it to me?”

”Humph! Don't look down on us, human! We are Fallen Angels. Just say it, as long as it is within our powers, we will give you anything you dėsɨrė.”

”Well… it isn't much…” looking at her face that seems to lose its patient, Wang Lei smirked, ”The only thing I am currently interested in is your head. So please give it to me.”

The trio angel's expression becomes ugly, hearing him.

”Kill him,” without saying anything else, Raynare was the first one to initiate the attack as she flapped her wings and launched towards Wang Lei with a spear of light in her hand, ready to impale him.

Kalawarna and Mittelt also did not waste any more time and vanished from their place, one appearing at his side while the other at his other side.

Raynare was in front as she thrust her spear towards his heart.

But Wang Lei did not stop it.

The trio was surprised, but that did not stop them as Kalawarna created different chains as they coiled around his legs, starting to burn in Yukata.

Thankfully his Yukata was special that would not burn even if thrown into lava. It was made of Divine Level Profound Beasts after all. The privilege of having a Realm King as his maid.

BOOM!

A loud explosion occurred in front of his café. Good thing that they were inside a bounded field or the whole one-kilometer area would have heard the sound of the explosion.

Dust covered the area where Wang Lei stood with debris scattering around him.

”Humph! Just a lowly human and yet so arrogant,” scowled Kalawarna, but the next thing she was her own body… without a head, ”Eh?” was the last word that came from her mouth before she succumbed to eternal slumber.

”Hmm. That was a strong attack… for a weakling that is,” throwing the head of Kalawarna towards Rayanre and Mittlet, Wang Lei said as he started to walk in their direction.

Seeing the dead body of Kalawarna, Raynare did not think twice before throwing a spear of light towards Wang Lei before running in the opposite direction.

But before she could make any distance between them, a wall of light rose in front of her.

Pure! It was the purest form of light she has ever seen in her whole life. Raynare felt that even the Gods' light was never this pure.

And yet, it felt aggressive. As if to eat anything at a given notice. It was a beast. A slumbering beast, waiting for its master's order. Once given, it would not show any form of mercy to its enemy.

”Fuck!” she cursed. She knew there was no running now. This person, this monster in human's clothing was not going to let her run away.

”Why so hurry? The real fun is still to begin, little Raynare~,” with little playfulness in his voice, Wang Lei said as he took his hand out of the body of Mittelt as her small body falls on the ground, painting it red.

”… hahaha! Why don't you calm down? We can talk about this. I'll do anything. Literally anything. I'll be your servant, your bitch, your personal slave…so please, let me live,” seeing no escape route, Raynare begged for her life.

As long as one lived, he had uncountable choices. Anything is possible. But you needed to be alive for it.

”My personal slave huh… but did I not make myself clear?” smiling gently, like an Angel, Wang Lei said, ”I am interested in your bloodline. So I'll be refining it and you with it. After all, once I said something, I can't go back on my words.”

”Wait—”

Wang Lei did not wait for another monologue from her before gripping her face as pure light energy started to enter her.

”Stop, Stop, STOPPPPP!!!” her screams filled the surroundings now. Raynare felt unimaginable pain crossing throughout her whole body.

As if thousands of ants crawling inside of her blood vessels, biting everything — eating her from this inside.

But Wang Leis' face showed not even a single shred of mercy. He smiled as if enjoying the whole process of screams.

He said it. He was merciless. He would kill anyone and everyone standing in its path or against him. It doesn't matter whether that person is innocent or a psychopathic killer. It was all same to him.

Meet God; Slay God. Meet Devil; Slay Devil. That was the core of Wang Lei.

For those who stood with him, he would benefit them beyond their belief, but for those who stood against him… only one thing was left for them — death!

Soon, her horrifying shouts of terror died down as Raynare's eyes rolled back with silva leaving her mouth — she broke.

Her body and mind could not take the constant torture or pain from the refining of her blood which led her mind to break, turning her into a vegetable.

Absorbing her life force and turning her into dust particles, Wang Lei raised his hand. A black blood drop was hovering in the center of his palm.

A single word and the Primordial Energy from the surrounding started to enter that single drop of blood, brimming it with Primordial Force, making it more black — abyssal black, in fact.

He knew how powerful angels were in Certain Index. If he were to compare angels of Certain Index with DxD, then that was the same as comparing ants with God. The difference was massive between them.

While the angels in DxD could only be work as a light bulb, angels in Certain Index could wrap the reality just by existing.

Just from this, one could tell how much power they contained.

”I'll merge with it later,” saying so, Wang Lei stored the blood in his storage since it was wrapping the reality around it just by existing.

With a snap of his finger, the bounded field shattered. Everything was normal. There was no damage, nobody, nothing.

Wang Lei looked up and smiled before going back into his café.

Rias, Akeno, Sona, and Tsubaki were standing above the roof of the café, watching everything fold.

Rias and Akeno were nonchalant as if what happened was normal. But same could not be said for Sona and Tsubaki, who were shocked by the level of strength he showed.

”See? I told you. Master is stronger than you can ever imagine,” with a puff of her ċhėst, Rias spoke with pride. As if it was she who was stronger and not Wang Lei. But she was indeed feeling pride. Wang Lei was her master, after all.

Sona remained silent.

Seeing her silent and not answering her, Rias shrugged her shoulders before going back to the café with Akeno.

”Wait!” just as Rias was about to enter the café, Sona called her.

Halting in her steps, Rias looked back at Sona confusedly.

”You… you just called him Master?” Sona asked, thinking if she heard her rival wrong.

”Oh!” as if realizing something, Rias's eyes opened before blinking, ”I did not tell you, right? Well, about seven years ago, I had become [Pawn] of the master. Same with Akeno and Koneko.”

Sonas' and Tsubaki were astonished… yet again. The number of surprises they have received in this one day was more than they received in their previous years.

”But… did Maou-sama agreed to it?”

Rias shrugged her shoulders, ”Onii-sama… even if he wanted to go against it, he can do nothing. That is how strong master is that even Onii-sama does not want to offend him.”

GULPED

Both Sona and Tsubaki gulped. Even Maou did not want to offend him?

They know, especially Sona, she knew how much Sirzech loved his little sister. His love was at the same level as her sister Serafall — both were sis-con.

And now she was hearing that Sirzech did not want to offend someone who had made his little sister his [Pawn]?

Of course, she knew that if Rias became his [Pawn] deliberator, then things might be different.

”Sigh…,” pinching her nose bridge, Sona sighed, ”Seriously… today is really a day full of surprises. I am tired.”

Sona was having a headache thinking about why such a powerhouse would come to such a little town. Again, it did not make sense. She just could not pinpoint a single thing about Wang Lei. Everything he did feel so random to her.

If only she knew that most of the things Wang Lei did were random.

”Come in. Drink a coffee or tea with a cake before going back. It might help in reducing your headache,” jokingly saying, Rias went back to the café with Akeno, leaving the silent Sona and Tsubaki.

”… what should we do now, Kaichou? Do you think Sensei will be angry at us for trying to get his information?” Tsubaki asked worriedly.

If what Rias has said, and if Wang Lei really is such a character that even Maous are afraid of offending, they might have dug a hole for themselves.

No one likes to be exposed to their personal stuff after all.

”I don't know… but if my guess is right, then he might not really care. I could be wrong though,” adjusting her glasses, Sona said, ”But for now, lets' go back. I am seriously tired today. I'll think about it tomorrow.”

Tsubaki nodded and followed after Sona silently.
