Chapter 204 - No regrets (2/2)

Clearly, she wasn't the only one who thought so, since Rhys suddenly sat down and took a book out.

”You're going to study in this condition?” she looked at Rhys dumbfounded.

Rhys nodded, ”Because it really does look like we will be here for a while. ”Well that's true...but how can he be so laid back in a situation like this? Then again this guy always seems to do everything at his own pace, at least that's how it was back then.

Wait wait a second. This is strange, Rhys is supposed to be with the others. He isn't supposed to be here and even if he was here. It would be for work; he wouldn't be on a battlefield of all places unless she imagined things again. Yeah yeah, that's it, with all the talk about Rhys as of late. She is imagining things.

Rhys laughs when he saw her expression, ”Nothings changed, huh?”

Her face color remains pale, ” Your a ghost,” Lyn stated flatly. Yup, he definitely is.

There is just no way that he can be here.

”I see I'm a ghost, am I? Then alright,” Rhys stood up and closed his book and made his way over. Lyn didn't have any time to react when his lips were suddenly on hers. The warmth and sensation tingled in her lips. This was real, yet a flash of maroon-colored hair flashed in her head, and she pushes him away.

Why did he? Why did he kiss her?

”Y--You can't do that. You just can't,” she exclaimed. ”You probably don't know, but I...” Lyn was cut off by his laughter. Wait he's laughing?

Rhys smiled, and he flicked her forehead, ”Didn't I tell you already? I won't ask anything from you.”

Rhys keeps on talking, but the rest of his words were becoming a blur to her. It was all becoming a blur. As she finds herself lost in her own thoughts. Awkward, this is awkward.

Because...she didn't see him off that day. That time when they parted not too long ago. At least that's what everyone thought. However, she had gone but hid in a place where no one saw her. She hid she didn't know to react; she didn't know what to do. When it comes to Rhys, she always ends up feeling so confused and lost.

”Be not afeard. The isle is full of noises, Sounds, and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.

Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments

Will hum about mine ears, and sometimes voices

That, if I then had waked after a long sleep

Will make me sleep again, and then in dreaming

The clouds methought would open and show riches

Ready to drop upon me, that when I wake,” Rhys quoted.

So he still remembers, huh?

However... Lyn closed her eyes and opened them again.

”That quote isn't necessarily about dreams. Here Caliban explains to Stephanie and Trinculo, that the mysteries music they hear is caused by magic. Caliban is trying to send the message that using speech in another form.”
