Chapter 204 - No regrets (1/2)
”Aha, then if you do I'd be in trouble” she trails off, her gaze softens. ”Kazuya you understand it full well. Better than anyone else and maybe even better than myself. The thing that I have left to do is no longer just for the sake of the failure of back then. I've met so many people since that time after all. So, so many people. They've all helped me taught me new things, I've experienced so much for every encounter. Whether its pain, sadness, despair loneliness. Happiness, tears of joy, anger, frustration. There's an emotion in all of them. Yet I don't regret it at all.”
Kazuya away then, his hands made its way on to her hair, ” Really...you are unbelievable always...So unbelievable.” he muttered.
With those words said, he bent down and stole her lips once again. Lyn chuckled in her head; he does have quite the timing with this stuff. But every kiss they shared, always seemed to be so so precious to her. Once he finished, she smiles, ”Was that the pre-warning?”
”It was,” Kazuya said with an equal grin to her own, ” Well then shall we go?”
Eh? But.....he's....
Kazuya flicks her forehead, ”Don't think I'll let you have all the fun by yourself. Besides, I'm not the one who got hit by a magic beam. I'll live.”
Lyn winks, ” Then I guess we can go together.”
...
' Let's go together' yet they ended up being separated. Well, Lyn supposed it was alright. But really why does she of all people always ends up completely separate from the others? The two of them had arrived just in time to save the others. However, in the end, the enemy managed to split them up.
Lyn did it on on purpose though, even though she was right beside him, she purposely left. She needed time to think it through. It felt as though everything was suddenly spiraling out of control for her. Everything's out of control, such a feeling like this, she disliked it a great deal.
As she navigated through the darkness, she hears somebody say her name.
”Princess Lyn, right?”
Lyn let's out a massive sigh, here we go.
Guess it was about time they showed up. Lyn glanced back 3 -6 on her left. 6 on her right and 10 in front of her. Fighting in large numbers is a dirty technique, plus they all have weapons. However, to her, that's something that won't make a difference. For someone like that's nothing.
.....
The vibrations gradually got closer and closer. Lyn looked at the roof above her head. In this almost entirely dark space, the ceiling seemed buried in the darkness. So she could only give up, lowering her gaze again. The vases that had been here before had disappeared. After it disappeared, this place had become a vast space with only darkness. It was dark earlier, but now it was pitch black. But despite that, Lyn could still see. If there is darkness, there is light. Her thoughts broke off when she spotted somebody.
What was this person doing in this kind of place?
Pale hair and pale-colored eyes and that smile. Rhys seemed slightly taller than she last recalled. But that's a given since it's been a while.
Why is he here?
”Rhys?” Lyn called out.
Rhys smiles lightly, ”Sup?”
Lyn frowned at his greeting, ”Your telling me what's up when we're in an area of darkness?” Isn't this guy way too casual?
She didn't have any time to let her emotions get the better of her. As the corridors slowly changed once again into a dull grey color. Well, whoever is setting up these traps sure has a thing for color. But she guessed that the person intends to keep them trapped here for a while.
