Chapter 203 - Im still here (1/2)

Lyn had to stop herself from glaring until they arrived at the destined room. People here recognized Kazuya and started to call him all sorts of bad things. They kept calling him things like a monster and heartless. The entire time Kazuya said nothing back, and simply lowered his head. When they finally arrived at the room, Lady Eva spoke up and told them to rest up since they have a long day tomorrow.

”What was that about?” Lyn demanded.

Kazuya chuckled, ”Are you going to attack me?”

Lyn realized how misleading their position was and tried to squirm away, but Kazuya held her tightly.

”I've done all sorts of bad things for the sake of my freedom,” Kazuya trailed off, ”I never questioned it before though. So, if you think your hands are stained. Then mine must be clean,” he joked.

”Kazuya...”

”I know how you feel Lyn; you don't want blood to be shed. You want things to remain peaceful, your dream - the vision you

”If you want to cry, cry!” Kazuya mused, completely ignoring everything else she had just said. The brunette felt her chocolate brown eyes widen.

”What…?” Lila mumbled, in complete disbelief not believing that she heard properly.

The maroon colored haired boy sighed. ”I can read you, remember? You look like you're holding something back. I know it's tears.”

”Shut up!” Lyn gasped. When she felt something warm and wet trickle down her cheek, She froze.

No way…

Lyn sniffed then roughly wiped it off. ”D-dust must've gotten into my eye…” she stubbornly muttered.

Kazuya sighed, then held his hand out. She took it.

”Liar. Stop bottling up all your emotions. It's what weaklings do…” He whispered, ” But it's fine. If you recall I said it's alright for you to be weak in front of me,” Kazuya muttered, and pulled her into a hug her head buried in his chest, this caused her eyes to widen. He really is an idiot...but this person from the very start has...always known.

Lyn closed her eyes and yet the tears still didn't stop, as she felt Kazuya tangle his hands with her own. ” Hush, it's alright. It'll be fine. While I'm still around, you can still cry.”

That's probably, that was probably the first time Lyn felt it, felt it trigger. The one thing she had been trying to keep strong about. Putting up a front about ever since she found out.

Ah really....

She really is a liar.....

But she can no longer keep it up.

” I...I ....don't want you to leave me,” Lyn said, as she looked up and a continuous stream of tears falling from her violet-colored eyes.

Kazuya says nothing, and just holds her hand tighter and pats her hair. ” I'm really sorry...”

'Stupid,' Lyn thought. Why is he apologizing?

....

3 hours later: 1:30 am

Some fools will still love, huh? Then what about her… At that time, she thought that way. She thought that things would be different, that they'd change. That afterwards everything would be different. For a while, it seemed like it would be that way. For awhile…it seemed that she would be taken to a new world and be set free. However, just when she was about to settle into her new life peacefully. They ended up coming back into her life.

Lyn sat up to open the window above her bed to let some fresh air in and let her head drop on her knees. The night breeze caressed her skin, and she took in the smothering summer scent. Everything around her seemed so composed and relaxing, yet on the inside, Lyn felt as if she could break down any minute. Her gaze fell on Kazuya, who was fast asleep; she cried herself to sleep, and Kazuya must have made her lay down.

Before she knew it, tears started forming in the corner of her eyes, as she buried her face in her knees. She is so very foolish, why is she still crying? Kazuya went through all that trouble to comfort her.
