Chapter 202 - The Snow Kingdom Royal Family (1/2)

”Take my hand, here we go

We're stepping now as a pair

Move your feet, feel the beat

We're floating, lightning right through the air

Without any care..”

It was a beautifully written song. Lyn didn't know much about music other than what she learned from her lessons, but she understood how important this song was. Lyn could feel the emotions of the songwriter. As long as they are beside the person they love, they can overcome all the obstacles and trials in their way.

”You're in my life

every day, you stand by me

And embrace who I really am

And who I want to be

In this world..”

No matter what obstacles came their way, as long as that person held them tightly, they could overcome it.

”I'm not afraid anymore

Stronger than I was before, yeah

This is magic what you've given me

No matter what steps we take

There's a bond you cannot break

So let's keep dancing..”

Lyn closed her eyes and let herself slowly recall how things have been since she met Kazuya.

'I'll come back for you.

No matter what happens, wait for me. You'll become my wife.'

Her memories of the past are faint, how they initially met, and what happened. But, from time to time, she would recall such phrases. Lyn understood exactly how dear she was to Kazuya.

It was because she met Kazuya that she regained the confidence that she lost as a child. Eventually, the song came to an end; no sooner had it ended the space was filled with the sound of loud cheers. Lyn opened her eyes and was surprised to see such a large crowd.

”Princess Lyn is it?” hearing somebody call her name, Lyn flinched. 'Oh shoot,' she thought. She should have thought this through. While her eldest brother is dealing with it, some of her posters are still around. Even if he takes them down, people would have made copies.

For some reason, the crowd dispersed.

There stood a man with short pale green hair wearing the royal robes of the Snow Kingdom main family. Lyn however immediately recognized the emblem on the staff in his hands. Lyn knelt down on the ground. The Snow Kingdom King, King Hein.

”It's the King?”

”Seriously, his majesty?”

'He's a kid,' Lyn thought. But Lyn immediately noticed how the atmosphere in the square had changed. The merry music and cheerfulness were replaced with a heavy feeling. What a suffocating atmosphere. While she bowed, Lyn noticed that the musicians beside her didn't bow at all, including Kazuya who was frowning.
