”I got an ability to create metal dust that penetrates into enemies and can turn them into metal. There is a summoning ability too, It seems to be similar to Xelu's. I can make small metal mounds which summons a minion every 10 hours but, it uses all of my resource to create one.” Kess

I have her show me her metal dust ability. She shoots metal dust out of her mouth which builds up into a fog. It moves towards a tree and..... It turns into a metal tree. Simple enough. It should work really well against hordes of creatures.

We decide to build the metal mounds on the top of the cliff as they take up more space than Xelu's summoning pools. We can have Xelu build sentries around the mounds as well. We will also put a few in the nest just in case the ones outside are destroyed. This will all take a long while to implement though as mounds cant be built consecutively

-------

Now that everything else is dealt with I take Set with me to attack the gnome dungeon again. Trying to follow the path Kess and I took earlier, we get slightly lost.

'Master? Where is this dungeon?' Set

”.....” Gin

Trying to remember landmarks that I found along the way I suddenly hear something.

”Rivz no oshevicsil slihn?” ????

”Doplan slizas valkoa div!” ????

I can barely hear a weird language spoken very quickly. Both me and Set go into stealth. We slowly make our way past some large trees to see a small encampment of tents. In it are thin ash colored? Elves? No elves are supposed to be green. These guys are grey and they have really red eyes.

'What do you make of this?' Gin

'They look dangerous. We should probably take them out before they cause us trouble.' Set

'What do you mean? They could be friendly?' Gin

I don't know what they would think of us.... They may be drow. The arachne queen mentioned them a few times. I don't know the strength of them so it would be best to retreat. Impossible to tell what they would think of me but, they probably hate spiders as the arachne queen probably ate quite a few of them....

If they find our nest, it would be a disaster. Between the spiderlings running around and the giant fleshy eldritch nest on the top of the cliff..... There is nothing friendly about it at all....

We quickly return to hide the nest. First I had Kess close up the entrance at the bottom of the cliff. I tried to camouflage the flesh nest by covering it with metal webs and sticking stones and such to it. We did the same to any part of the nest that had metal webbing sticking through the cliff face. It looks weird but, It could still be considered to have been created by nature.

I made the right choice. The forest started to get flooded by drow in the next few days. Luckily, they didn't pay much attention to our cliff. After about a week, their numbers died down quite a bit. They still have patrols around but, nowhere near their previous numbers.

....

Should I try capturing one?
