Chapter 500 - Revenge 501: Without Permission (2/2)

Back at the twins' side, they are currently reporting everything to their grandfather. After doing so, their grandfather forces the twins and the other two to kneel.

”I can't believe that the four of you went on a mission with permission!” Marcus shouted in anger. ”Now is not the right time for any of you to go on a mission! You four are giving me a headache!”

”Hey, I thought this mission was approved?” Aaron whispered to Lucia.

”Uhh... it was approved by me.” Hearing that, both Aaron and Ophius are giving Lucia a glace.

”I can't believe you dragged me into this! You took a mission with anyone's permission?! My father is going to really kill me now! Ugh! I shouldn't have listened to you in the first place.” Ophius is now having a hard time finding the right excuse to say once his father hears about this news.

”Seriously, Lucia? Why would you do that? If I have known that, I wouldn't have come in the first place. My mother is going to kill when she gets back.” Not only did he skipped school, in which his mother firmly told him not to do it, he also got himself involve on a mission that is not even permitted by those who are higher than them.

”Stop with the whining, you two,” Anna said in an irritated tone. Her knees are now hurting and she's trying her best to endure it, but if her brother and Ophius keep on talking and talking, she might lose her temper and say something unnecessary. ”If we didn't go in the first place, do you really think that we have any idea what Johan is planning now? We will be oblivious of what Johan is doing and our parents will be caught off guard. Whether or not the mission was permitted, and get in trouble for it, it's was a good thing that we went.”

”Anna...” Lucia is now in teary eyes because Anna is defending her. As soon as Anna heard her name, she glared at Lucia.

”However, Lucia, you are not in the right here. You're still in the wrong for taking a mission without permission from our seniors. This kind of action can get us a whole lot of trouble. If we didn't find anything from that place about Johan, then the punishment we're about to receive is not worth it.”

Though she made a reasonable statement, Lucia is still not off the hook. Lucia is still at fault for why they are going to get punished. Even Anna is blaming Lucia that she got into this mess, and at the same time, she is thankful for Lucia.

'That information was a significant one. If we didn't have known about it now, my parents and their friends will be having trouble in the future.' Anna inwardly commented.

The four teenagers didn't realize it yet, but Marcus has stopped scolding them the moment Anna spoke up. He heard everything that Anna said and he couldn't be even more proud of how mature Anna's words are.

Although he is proud, he will not say it. He must keep his cold and angry expression to teach these young ones a lesson for not following the organization's rules.

”Since the four of you know that you are in trouble, then shall we decide on what punishment you four deserves?”

”Still haven't seen the twins? That's so not them. They never disappear without a word, unless something bad happened to them.” Leon pondered. Unknown to him, he didn't notice the glare Nathalia is giving to him.

”Shut it, Leon! How can you say that like it's nothing! What if something did happen to them?”

Nathalia is now feeling guilty about the fact that she told Aaron to back off. If something did happen to them, she felt like it's because of her that Aaron decided to leave and Anna followed him.

”Stop imagining things, Nathalia,” Josh said, then he patted Nathalia's head to calm her down. ”And Leon, what on earth are you doing here? You're not even a part of this training.”

When Zen mention their training session to Leon, Leon suddenly decided to follow them all the way here. It really surprised him when Leon suddenly attacked him from behind.

”I know. But I really want to see what kind of progress you guys are making.” Since these trio's fathers are quite well-known, Leon is somewhat expecting that they are making good progress to live up to their father's name.

”Don't expect anything from them, Leon. They still have a long way to go.” Zack suddenly interrupted.

His harsh comment made Zen clicked his tongue. Usually, he would talk back to his father, but his father's words are true. He and his friends still have a long way to go and they can't even proudly say that they are their fathers' children.

”I see. I guess my trip here is wasted.” Leon said in a disappointed tone. He thought he gets to see Josh in action.

In his opinion, Josh has the most potential out of the three. Josh's eyes tell him that Josh is determined to become stronger for the sake of everyone that he loves. As for Nathalia, she wants to become stronger, but her reason is different. And lastly, Zen, he only wants to get stronger. Zen still doesn't know the reason why he wants to become stronger than he is now.
