Chapter 501 - Revenge 502: Torture (1/2)

”Wait. Your trip here is not wasted at all.” Zack said, stopping Leon from leaving the place. ”I need you to take part in today's training.”

Leon frowned when he heard that. ”You want me to participate? In this training? Me, Leon, who went through all of these years ago? That doesn't sound right to me.”

Leon already through all of the basics, and the basics are annoying. He won't dare to go through it again. If he has to train himself, then it would on a whole another level. He doesn't mean it in a bad way, but his level is way above than Zack and the others.

”No, no. You're thinking about this so wrongly. I don't mean you should go and train with them. What I mean is that you will be my assistant for today.” In other words, Leon will have the pleasure to give his son, Nathalia, and Josh some hard time.

Without giving it a second thought, Leon replied, ”Oh! I like that offer even better!”

Just the thought of it is already giving him a bunch of ideas. Earlier, Nathalia did him wrong and now, this is his chance to have his sweet revenge.

Seeing that smirk on Leon's face, Nathalia suddenly felt a bad omen. ”Uncle Zack! It's true that he already went through the basics and he is near your level of skills, but this is not just fair!”

If Leon were to join Zack to train them, it's going to double their exhaustion. She still has not yet recovered from yesterday's training. She thought that Zack would be at least go easy on them today, but obviously, she thought wrong.

”Nathalia Vendallin.”

Zack called out her name and that startled her. This is the first time that she hears Zack her name using that tone. It scared her, and for the first time, her view of Zack turned into a whole new degree.

”You complaining like that tells me that you're not even fit to be one of us. In the organization, we like to take on challenges. Even your father, he always craves for something more. Aside from you and your mother, the challenges that he is seeking are what drives him the most. If you can't even keep up with this simple training, then you are not ready for this.”

Since yesterday, Zack keeps in mind that he will treat Nathalia nicely so that he will not get an earful from Leonardo. But Nathalia just pushed the button that she should not have pushed.

He can't stand people who want to join the organization with such half-hearted efforts of making great progress. And coincidentally, the young daughter of his friend is one of those half-hearted people.

He can tell that she wants to be part of the organization is because she wants to be part of a story in the twins' adventure and she also wants her father to recognize her skill. Those two things are what's in her mind.

She has the motivation to want to get stronger, but that motivation of hers is not enough to make Zack proudly say that he is happy to become one of Nathalia's teachers.

Nathalia is about to open her mouth to voice out her opinion, but Zen stopped her. ”I recommend that you shouldn't say one more word to my father, Nathalia.” In times like this, whenever his father uses that tone, it's better to not say a word and just listen.

”I invited Leon because I needed his help, not because to make things hard for you three. Leon is trained personally by Arion, and from what I heard, he is good at using various types of guns. With his help, it would be easier for me to know how accurate you three are at firing a gun.”

Since they had a hard time yesterday, Zack decided that it would best to keep things easy. And assembling a gun and practicing their accuracy is the simplest task they will ever do.

”As for my son, who's been practicing his shooting skills for quite some time now, I will have you practice on a different gun. It's much harder to control and heavier than what you were used to. But I still expect you to do a good job at it.”

Josh who was quiet the whole time looked around and saw no sign of two people who are supposed to be here.

”Are we gonna start without the twins?” He asked.

”The twins are not gonna join us, and don't ask me why because I don't have the time to explain what happened to those two.” Zack is honestly disappointed that the twins are not around for today's training. He really wants to see how good the twins are at handling a gun.

Thanks to their thirst for wanting to do some action. They got themselves into trouble, but then again, if they didn't go there, none of them would have known about one of Johan's plan.
