Chapter 98 - Revenge 97: Experience the Same Punishment (1/2)
Kyle's stare was making the awkwardness that Anna has been feeling worse. 'What is this guy's problem?'
”You...” Kyle wanted to continue what he wants to say but he stopped himself. There is no use of asking her what is happening to him because if he did ask her she will suspect him of having doubts about her again and she will be angry at him again. He does not want her to get angry at him.
With nothing to talk about Kyle decided to go to his room and calm his mind there and Anna was left all alone in the kitchen bewildered. 'What the heck?' Didn't he just say that she should accompany him? Then why did he leave?
Anna felt that some jackass just left her hanging. Kyle left without saying anything else to her and this irritates her. Why did he even ask her to accompany him if he is going to leave first without saying anything? What kind of game is he playing at? That is the question swirling around Anna's mind that she did not notice Zen coming near her.

When Zen left the kitchen he immediately took out his phone and search for Mary's number. His father gave Mary's number just in case he needed help if his father and his mother are not around. And it's a good thing that Zen saved it on his phone.
After a few rings, Mary answered the call. ”Who on earth is this? How in the bloody hell did you get my number?” Zen was shocked at Mary's cold voice and at the way Mary's words. He did not expect Mary would speak like that.
Whenever he saw Mary, Mary was always elegant and her words were not like this. 'Whoa, I have never thought that aunty Mary has this kind of side of hers.' He always thought that Mary was someone who is gentle and caring but who would've have known that she can be also a very scary person.
Noticing that the other line is not speaking Mary warned him or her, ”Speak. If you don't speak I'm gonna find you and cut your tongue.”
Zen gulped. When his mother told him that his father is scared of Mary he did not believe it. But listening on how Mary threat him he is now starting to believe his mother's words. His father has known Mary for a long time now and he wonders how did his father survive this long with Mary's hidden side.
Gathering all his courage he spoke, ”Uhh... Aunty Mary, it's me, Zen.”
Hearing a familiar voice in the other line Mary exclaimed, ”Oh! Zen? My goodness, how did you get my number?” Knowing that it is Zen is on the other line the tone on Mary's voice suddenly changes into a sweet tone, a very caring tone of voice. Zen was bewildered by the sudden change of Mary's tone. 'How can she do that? Her tone of voice changes too fast.'
