Chapter 97 - Revenge 96: Much Better than Him (1/2)

Since the thought of not wanting to get ignored by Anna, Kyle faked a cough to get their attention. Signaling them that he is still here, listening to their conversation.

Hearing that sound, Zen and Anna looked at Kyle direction. Looking at Kyle, Anna suddenly felt guilty for some reason. The look on his face is not exactly what everyone says a friend looking person. He looks so scary and intimidating yet despite all that he looks more handsome. 'Ah, no wonder women fall for this guy even if he is scary or not.' Anna said in her mind.

”Oh, there was someone else. Hehe.” Zen awkwardly laugh. The glare that Kyle is giving him made Zen wonder, 'What the hell did I do?'

”Yes. Someone else was here. The whole time.” The tone of his voice was cold that it sends shivers to Zen's spine. The way Kyle delivers his words towards Zen is like wishing Zen to disappear and leave Anna and him alone.

”I think your boyfriend does not like me,” Zen whispered to Anna.

Hearing what Zen just whispered to her, she felt that her face was burning up. ”He is not...!” Anna whispered back. Zen did not say anything and just smirk at her. The redness of her face is making him doubt their relationship.

”Are you sure? You are not pretending are you?” He teases.

”I am not pretending,” Anna said firmly.

Kyle saw everything from how Zen's words made Anna blush and Anna whispered back that made Zen smirk. From his point of view, it looks like they were flirting in front of him.

How could they flirt in front of him? Can they not do that in front of him, it is such a sore eye.

The glare that Zen is receiving from Kyle is more intense than earlier that he decided to back away before something might happen to him. ”I'll contact aunty Mary, you stay here and coax him before he decided to kill me. We don't want that to happen right?” Without giving Anna the chance to reply back, Zen immediately left the kitchen.

After Zen left the air that surrounds them were so awkward that it is too suffocating for Anna. ”So... what we were talking about earlier?” She said trying to erase the awkwardness between them.

”We were talking about what happened to your hand.”

”And I said that I had so much fun with Zen that I accidentally hurt myself.”

Again, silently swallowed them both again. Anna glance at Kyle and he look like he does not mind the silence. 'How can he handle this? Arghh! I can't! He's too quiet!'

As Anna was thinking of a way to start a conversation with Kyle and Kyle, on the other hand, was also thinking the same thing. He wants to start a conversation with Anna but he does not know how to start. What kind of conversation could they have? They barely even know each other.
