”We will create a true academy and it is there where I will be able to accomplish my goals” laughed Lord Asura losing the captains as they felt lost at the moment.
”Lord. . . . what is the purpose of creating a true academy. It seems that since we have reformed once already that the quality of the Deva are dropping as a byproduct. What would creating a true Academy do in comparison. . .” asked the youngest of the Captains having decided to chance an outburst due to the change in Lord Asura's personality. The man hadn't ruthlessly slayed anyone in the few days he had been acting this way opting to smite them with the fury of his Sandals.
Lord Asura however had noticed the change in himself as well as he had been forced to look over his life as it flashed before him during his encounter with the Founder, he realized that he hadn't been acting towards his old ways but looking over his life as he had encouraged him to believe that it was the situation with Chidori and Draig that had caused it.
It was his belief that the shock of his granddaughter being groped had elicited this response from him and that perhaps his many years of life had caused him to act so callously as he watched his comrades die while he remained the same only aging at a much slower rate. This derived from the fact he watched himself change innately from the dutiful Deva he was into a scheming person hoping for god hood, it had changed him not that any of the current captains would be able to notice as he had long since became a cold person before they took up their role.
Realizing that his Captains were questioning his leadership due to his odd change in character he decided to hid his actual reasons for creating the Academy.
”The Association needs new blood and as you have said the quality of the Deva have been falling rapidly. . .” started Lord Asura as the Captains didn't bother to get their hopes up this time.
”That is why it is necessary to start a formal Academy, each of you will take the roles of teachers for the young Deva which I am certain will drive their competency to a higher level as they try to live up to your standards. This wall also allow us to have a much more personal feel as we will be able to thoroughly inspect any possible recruits to bring into the Association. . .” explained Lord Asura.
'It will also allow me to keep an eye on that little brat and his wandering hands' thought Lord Asura leaving that part out as he maintained a serious persona.
”Then you are still aiming for supremacy. . . .” asked one of the Captains hoping to confirm their leader's intentions.
”Of course, do you think I will waste all my years of effort. In the end however we will still need strong Deva to join our ranks, in this time where their capabilities are falling we are forced to show our hand and reach out to them in order to strengthen ourselves” answered Lord Asura causing the Captains to smile as it seemed the odd spel for their Lord was coming to an end but that was only on the surface.
”Then what do we do with the young Deva in the meantime” asked one of the females of the group of Captains.
”Send them out of the Deva grounds for the time being, it will be a good experience and guiding force for them to witness their own growth. For some it will allow them to strive for more strength and make them redouble their efforts to reach the Apex, however there will be those who grow complacent with their meager amount of Abilities. However it is no longer up for discussion, I have already made my mind up for these plans to come to fruition” stated Lord Asura as he commanded a few of the Deva subordinates to begin delivering messages to all of the Deva in the Deva grounds.
While this was going on Draig had been called to the door because he had gained another visitor, however the sight of the person caused Draig's mind to fall into a blank state.
The person before him was part of the reason for his dishonorable departure from the Captial of the Subarashi Dynasty.
”How are you here. . .” demanded Draig with a narrowing of his eyes.
