84 Skyfall: Draigs army (2/2)

”It seems there is more to this situation than meets the eye” stated Draig suddenly causing Dracule to look towards him in wonder.

”What situation” asked Dracule curiously.

”It's nothing of your concern, it is between me and the Founder. I will have to go unseal him if I wish to learn any clues on the happenings of the past” said Draig as he turned to his father who was also staring at him with an odd look.

It seemed the two of them was aware of what was on the other's mind but they did not say anything however Zarra didn't seem to understand the part of not saying anything as he walked over with Gregory and Jared in tow.

”Brat you need to explain some things” started Zarra but Draig waved him off.

”This is not the time nor the place, there are undesireables around us and I do not wish to arm them against me” stated Draig causing Zarra to understand what he meant.

”So you heard us” asked Zarra suddenly

”Every word, that woman Ruth seems to be a bit more knowledgeable than what she lets on. I would suggest getting a hold of that book and making sure there isn't more to the tale that she left out” commented Draig

”I also felt that way, Ruth has always been a conniving woman. It doesn't help that you're Eliza's son either, I wouldn't be surprised if she was planning to aim for you in the forest” added Gregory giving his view on the matter in an odd glimpse of seriousness.

”She won't try anything, at least not in an obvious way. She can already see how Zarra feels about Draig, she wouldn't harm the already negligible relationship she has with him over something so trivial though I will admit that she has acted out of character before” continued Jared.

”That is fine” chuckled Draig causing the three to look at him.

”Let her come, I wish to feast and see which is better the Blood of a woman or the Blood of a man” laughed Draig casting his gaze towards the Devil in question which oddly caused her to feel a chill.

'I'll be waiting for you' thought Draig as he delved into his united forces of Lanterns and Monster classes.

”Let's begin with the priority here, weaken the normy legion over there and collect their blood so I can put it in my tome. It'll help me grow stronger and I would appreciate it if you guys would be willing to assist me like this” asked Draig seeming like a normal guy instead of his usual attitude however on the inside he was smirking as he received the agreement from those of the Township.

'Fools, to me your all just filthy mortals. Having you assist me in weakening those awakened will be a major step in my future plans and after those come to fruition who knows what I will do with you' smirked Draig causing the Township people to think he was smirking due to his belief of an assured Victory.

”Sylvie is waiting for you” stated the Demon Slayer who looked the Feratu blankly as she grabbed his arm.

”Hey boss, take your girl out for a walk or something. We still got time before the Skyfall” called one of the Township people.

”Yeah just don't distract yourself with other things that would make you late” hollered another causing laughter among them.

Draig just put on a goofy smile to continue his good guy act.

”Well who knows what will happen, the girl just can't keep her hands off me” smiled Draig while Sylvie elbowed him harshly allowing him to further his facade by being dragged off  comically.

'Just keep playing the part, soon they will at my feet' thought Draig as he kept the pathetic look on his face.
