79 Awaken Child of Feratu (1/2)

Another two months had gone and Draig had grown splendidly under Zarra's tutoring, it was the joys that Zarra had longed for and he felt complete but unfortunately all good things would have to come to an end.

”Draig” called Zarra with a smile in his hands he had the Feratu's favorite childhood treat but the Feratu couldn't be found.

”Gregory, Jared, have either of you seen Draig” asked Zarra with an odd look.

”Kid's probably running around after that Sylvie girl, I'm telling you. The kid takes more after his mother than your sorry ass” laughed Gregory waving off the concern.

However what they didn't know was Draig was in his bed sweating and tossing to his sides, his eyes forced shut as he struggled with something.

'It is time' came the voice that was too familiar to Draig for him not to recognize it.

Inside Draig's inner world he sat before himself but this was far from the childish persona that had taken his place. This was the true Heir of Feratu, the one who had lived those harsh days of being ostracized and segregated by a people who would rather see him dead.

'Who are you' asked the Child

'I am Draig, the real me' stated Feratu as he glared down at the Child

'How can you be Draig, I am Draig' asked the Child

'How cute, a psyche side effect thinks it's real' laughed Feratu as he walked around the Child.

'Side effect, what do you mean' demanded the Child.

'I am recovered now, you are a mere by product of my mind shattering. Look around do you not see these glittering specks' stated Feratu as he gestured to many star like dust that floated around.

'Mind shattering?' asked the Child

'Sickening, I am sure you have been reliving my memories as I have recovered. Do you wonder why you can't remember these things, it is because you are not me. You are something that shouldn't exist to begin with, I am the true Heir of Feratu' sneered Feratu but the Child seemed to glare a bit.

'Your the me that hurt people' stated the Child as he stood and an odd magical aura seemed to drift off of him.
