67 Training the Enchanter (2/2)
'So easy to change their opinion's' thought Draig
”Do you find something wrong with the words I have spoken?” asked Draig looking to them with a patronizing smile.
”Tell me where I am wrong, which of you has the blood of a monster running through your veins as I do? Which of you can say that you were hated and hunted for your existence” asked Draig causing those angry looks to become stifled.Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click for visiting.
”So your the Bloody Enchanter” came the female voice cutting through the air.
”Bloody Enchanter?” asked Draig having heard his Moniker for the first time.
”You don't even know your own title, sickening. Have you been living under a rock” demanded the girl as she stepped forward revealing Dark hair and a slender build and eyes with a touch of crimson.
Draig understood instantly and laughed even harder causing the girl to glare.
”Living under a rock? No. I have been occupying myself through different means, such as enslaving the Wolf tribes” admitted Draig causing Zarra to raise his brows in shock along with Jared and Gregory.
”So forgive me little Mortal for being to busy to worry about titles from the likes of humans” chuckled Draig.
The girl seemed to take offense and she seemed to undergo a transformation as her hair and build went to something similar to Draig before receiving his class.
Silver hair and pale skin and still partial crimson eyes stared at Draig causing him to laugh even harder.
”What's so funny” demanded the girl as she attempted to walk forward but Draig locked his eyes onto her causing her to freeze on the spot.
”Simple, you. None of the noble blood runs in your vein's, you have no access to any of the abilities of those branch families let alone mine and yet you dare to act so haughty before me. Your nothing more than a lowly human who was turned in the eyes of my society, mere cannon fodder.” stated Draig cruelly as he walked up to this girl and ran his claw along her jaw drawing a thin line before depositing it into his tome.
There was no regeneration and Draig actually inspected her this time, crude claws hung from her finger tips and the scent of her blood was disgusting. It made him chuckle even further.
”Tell me is this the so called genius you speak of, some filthy imitator. Honestly, you should be ashamed to compare the two of us” sighed Draig looking towards Zarra who was still in shock from the comment about enslaving an entire race.
'I may have spoken too soon, Sherry isn't his match' thought Zarra who coughed to regain himself.
”She is” answered Zarra embarrassed by the current outcome.
”You really think this little of me” asked Draig though his patronizing persona was gone and his gaze had actually took an edge as he spoke.
Zarra choked on his tongue as he saw the situation was devolving due to his lack of information on his own son.
”Draig, it was my mistake. It is clear Sherry was not a suitable opponent for you, I have underestimated you and for that I apologize” started Zarra but then an angry yell erupted from behind Draig as Sherry swung her crude claws at the Feratu.
”Terrible decision” stated Draig as he became mist causing the girl to fall through his figure before a disembodied hand formed out the vapor and grabbed her by the neck.
”Not a single ounce of true Vampire Heritage in you and you thought something as pathetic as that would allow you to strike me. Founder be praised for this kind of person staying out of the Bloodline” exclaimed Draig throwing the girl at Zarra harshly.
”Hey brat, that was uncalled for” stated Jared taking a step forward.
However as he spoke a tiny clinking could be heard echoing in his armor causing confusion until Zarra noticed a tiny crystal mosquito floating out of Jared's helm and depositing yet another drop of blood in Draig's tome.
”BloodKnight indeed, very impressive. A Rare Dark class” stated Draig with a pleased look.
Jared stared for a second until he realized what had happened.
”You sneaky little bastard” stated Jared as he began walking forward intent showing Draig a thing or two.
However the loud sounds of crystals clinking together began to resound causing a deafening noise as the swarm flew from teh crowd and began depositing blood into the Tome one after another.
Though something Draig noticed during the process was Jared was holding his head and his knees were buckling.
'Interesting' thought Draig with a smirk.
Zarra saw the same and knew that it wouldn't be good for things to continue this way, after giving Sherry a pill so she could recover he tossed Jared away and decided to mediate a bit more seriously this time.
