All of a sudden, Beryl came back to her senses.

”Mommy, what are you doing?”

Beryl asked anxiously as she looked at Emily.

Emily looked at Beryl with a

cident, Amy had been staying at the hospital. After she had recovered somewhat, she had undergone an operation.

Right now, Amy was completely out of danger.

Taylor walked over and followed the man's line of sight as he looked into the ward. With white gauze bandaged around her head, Amy was sitting on the bed, happily talking with the nurse.

The man had noticed that there was someone behind him. He turned around and saw Taylor standing there, looking at him.

”Mr. Ke, why are you here?”

Taylor asked as she looked at the man in front of her politely and indifferently with a fake smile on her lips.

Louis withdrew his gaze and said in a neutral tone, ”I was just passing by and remembered that your daughter is here. So I came here to look in on her.”

”Oh. Well, thank you very much, Mr. Ke,” Taylor replied.

Standing at the door of the ward without saying anything else, both of them felt a little embarrassed, and the air around them was filled with an awkward aura.

At that moment, the ward door was opened from the inside. The nurse was stunned when she saw Taylor and Louis standing there.

”Dr. Taylor, you are here!” she said to Taylor.

Taylor nodded her head with a grateful smile on her face and asked, ”Did Amy behave herself today?”

”Dr. Taylor, Amy is a sweetheart,” the nurse swooned over her young patient.

Hearing her mother, Amy's voice sounded from inside the ward. ”Mommy, is that you?”

Taylor called back to her daughter and walked towards the ward. Then she seemed to think of something and looked at Louis, who was still standing at the door. Upon impulse, she then asked, ”Mr. Ke, would you like to come in for a little while?”
