16 Chapter 15 - Making His Appearance (2/2)
Sora: ”AS I SAID BEFORE! I'M THE CAPTAIN AND THE NEXT PIRATE KING! I'M STRONGER THAN YOU, SO BE SURE TO TELL SENGOKU TO GIVE ME A GOOD BOUNTY!!”
Monet: ”I'M MONET! VICE-CAPTAIN OF THE LIGHTNING WING PIRATES AND SNOW FRUIT USER. I'M ALSO STRONGER THAN YOU SO YOU BETTER GET ME A BOUNTY BEFITTING THE VICE-CAPTAIN OF THE NEXT PIRATE KING!”
They began to introduce themselves and their abilities. The worst part was every one of them said they were stronger than Akainu! They directly overlooked him and said to let Sengoku know they were here! More than that, they said their captain would be Pirate King!
Akainu: ”I will end you evil here!”
Sora: ”Evil? That ain't me, man. Anyone here evil? No? Damn, dude, looks like you've got nothing to do here! See, we're more neutral, and if you're smart you would skedaddle.”
The ships had already gotten close enough for Akainu to attack, so he jumped on board the Lightning Blossom. ”Great Eruption!” Akainu yelled forming a fist of Lava and attacking Sora. Sora blocked with his own fist of blue lightning, although he weakened it to contend with Akainu. ”Thunder Strike!” He yelled.
As Sora and Akainu were fighting, everyone else on Soras crew had their own battles. Although his crew easily beat everyone because they didn't want to play around with them, instead they would much rather watch Sora have fun ”playing” with Akainu. Since the marines didn't actually pose and threat and simply served to announce their arrival, none were killed.
”Lightning Whip!” Sora yelled out as he sent a kick towards Akainu, turning his leg into a lightning whip. Too fast for Akainu to block, he simply braced for the attack.
CRACK! Just like a normal whip, there was a crap when the attack landed, sending Akainu flying even though he had already prepared. Akainu quickly picked himself up and rushed to Sora ”HELLHOUND” he yelled as he turned his fist into a claw made of magma. ”THUNDERBIRD” Sora yelled, matching Akainu. He had to admit, coming up with names to the same moves with lightning was pretty hard.
”Great Eruption!” ”Thunder Strike!” ”METEOR VOLCANO” ”LIGHTNING RAIN!”
The fight continued like this before Sora finally threw another Lightning Whip at Akainu, which Akainu moved to block only to be met with another Thunder Strike to the face, this time purple in color. Unable to properly block it, Akainu coated his face in armament haki. The punch finally landed sending Akainu flying backwards. Sora quickly transformed into lightning and appeared above Akainu, kicking him into the floor!
”Electric Lock.” Sora said, forming lightning chains all over Akainus body. Akainu was unable to move and knew he lost. Sora threw him back to his marine ship and left. ”Remember Akainu! Tell everyone and make sure I get a good bounty!! Oh and tell Ace when I see him I'll burn up his fire with my lightning!”
Half a day later Akainu was freed from his restraints. He looked towards his crew and said ”To Marine Ford, as fast as possible!” His crew, knowing it was a serious matter quickly followed his orders, heading toward Marine Ford. The only good thing they could say about this is that the new pirate Sora had challenged Ace, one of the two current Pirate Kings. Akainu had one other thought on his mind. The pirate had easily said he wasn't evil and let everyone live. With their power, it wouldn't be surprising if the marines had been slaughtered. After all, Akainu was enough of a messenger. This didn't make him question his beliefs, it simply made him think again about his definition of 'evil.' Ace and Sabo also never took innocent lives. Maybe they weren't evil after all.
A week later he arrived at Marine Ford and asked Sengoku to call all the Admirals and Vice-Admirals because he had extremely important news. Most people wondered what had happened, while Tsuru and Garp could guess it had something to do with Luffy or Sora.
