16 Chapter 15 - Making His Appearance (1/2)

Sora: ”Alright let's go through the Calm Belt into the Grand Line!”

Sora had decided to find his own path in the Grand Line and experience his own adventure. Of course, he wanted to meet all the women who Luffy meets in his journey, but he had already told Zoro to recommend him as a husband for the beautiful women they meet on their journey. He allowed them to bring the women into his world as long as they could keep the secret, so Sora could meet them if he happened to enter while they were in there. As for Robin, Tori was probably guiding her to him, so he'll just wait to meet her. Tori had taken Robins mother with them before from Soras world. She said it would make guiding her easier.

Using the boost from the nitro motors, the Lightning Wing Pirates quickly travelled through the Calm Belt. They were lucky enough to see no Sea Kings throughout the journey, and thanks to the boosts they travelled in record time.

Four days had passed quickly as they travelled to and through the Calm Belt. As they exited the Calm Belt and entered the Grand Line, Nami began shouting orders at everyone. Since she was the navigator everyone followed her orders, except Sora who was looking forward to the first island they saw. Like Luffy did in the anime, he sat on the figurehead of the ship. Sora had always wondered why, but when he got his own, he realized he quite liked the spot too.

And so they moved forward towards their first destination as shown by the Log Pose they were gifted by Tsuru. After a bit of sailing, a marine ship appeared on the horizon. Sora thought it was perfect, since he wasn't sure how he would make his appearance known. Although he could cause chaos on whatever island he came across, he didn't really feel like it. That is unless he finds something he doesn't like. Now there were a group of messengers headed straight for him.

On the marine ship, Admiral Sakazuki, better known as Admiral Akainu, stood at the bow.

He had seen the pirates headed towards his ship and ordered his men to attack them. Akainu eliminated every pirate he saw, so this came as no surprise to his crew who quickly began advancing faster towards the pirate ship in the distance.

As the marine ship grew closer and closer Sora got more and more excited, especially when he saw Admiral Akainu standing at the front.

Sora: ”Everyone get ready! Be sure to make an impression, this is an Admiral after all!!”

Meanwhile, on the marine ship Akainu was confused. Why weren't they trying to run away? Everyone knew Akainu killed pirates. Did they think he was weak? He was an Admiral! How could he be weak?! He didn't recognize the pirate flag or the person standing on the front of the ship. Maybe they were a stupid new group?

Finally, the ships had arrived within shouting distance and Sora wanted to make sure Akainu knew who they were.

Sora: ”YO! ADMIRAL AKAINU! I'M VOI D. SORA, CAPTAIN OF THE LIGHTNING WING PIRATES AND YOU'RE GONNA BE THE ONE THAT ANNOUNCES MY EXISTENCE TO EVERYONE!! THE NEXT PIRATE KING IS HERE!!!”

Following his words Sora shot a bolt of purple lightning at Akainu that he could block. Akainu was shocked by the unknown pirates' strength and the lightning fruit. He was even more shocked by how similar the hat he wore was to Fire Fist Aces and what they did next.
